I'm super happy with 1.04r, I can wait as many moons as it takes for 1.05 to be perfected.

 

Is it going to be possible to keep a bone stock flash in addition to a "stock" flash that incorporates one of the TSBs? It would be kinda nice to be able to return to the crappy original tune for demonstration purposes and a reminder about how much of an improvement everything else is. Also just had a DUH moment; now that I have access to TS and my OVTune cable, I can just flash the damn TSBs myself, right?

So, why would it not be possible to go back to "factory"? I received a factory tune from Mat when he sent the files for 91 and 87 1.04, was hoping to be able to use that...

1.04r was made because once you get the TSB, there is no going back to the pre TSB tune.

 

Is there like a way to just Buy the Program/Update and just rent the equipment to install it? $700 for me is too expensive.

 

$700 is without the "equipment" (hand held) if i'm not mistaken.
You can use your laptop to install it, for free.
If it's too expensive, don't buy it.
But most people think $700 is cheaper than buying a different truck.

$600 for a software only package, the "Tuning Package" and "Handheld" packages are both $770 per the OVTune website

Yeah it seems like the more he gets into it the more there is to fix. I'm still betting on a 1.06 sometime down the road.
