Putting down anyone is not an answer to a caring sharing learning community that’s why we are all here. Feeding our enthusiasm of buying a vehicle we chose, making it better, making it more to your liking and possibly a reflection of your self that others might get inspired and go with it, or make it there own. We get the highs and lows and within that we find where we stand. This community is a cut above the rest! And I praise Mat for dropping his baby in the lions den (sort of speak) because here within all the up’s and downs and of course sideways deflection he’ll find ppl on the same page and enrich his product by willingly and happily members. Cuz that what makes most of here! Either enjoy it and ride with with us, or use or learn the skills and tool set offered . (Just read Mat’s post) But putting us down or fretting and stomping your feet really just defines yourself.
Sorry for the rant! Mat full speed ahead brother we’ll take it when you say it’s ready!

Is 1.04r still only available via email? I am waiting for Mat to send it, but I know he’s slammed and I refuse to bug him.

 

Found original files in flash manager and downloaded.....but getting an error when I try to flash. Seen this before?

 

If you already flashed the TSB there may be someone here that has a copy of 1.04r that matches your trucks configuration A/T-M/T ect..

 

Any idea how many versions there are? I'm hoping to update also, but don't wanna get a copy that's not gonna work.

 

I think there are two versions of the 1.04r running the 04b13 update, one for A/T and one for M/T and each will have either an 87 or 91 octane option.

I’ve got the stock tune, 1.04, tsb 0058 and 1.04r for 2018 auto if anyone needs them. PM me your email and I’ll send them over.

Is someone with the stock 2018 auto tune able to load 04A61(TSB0058) without going to the dealer, using OVTune pcmflash?

 

I believe you need to use Techstream to flash the TSB file

 

Fair enough. I did a ‘read’ after I went to 0058 if anyone needs it. My guess is that if you’re good enough to be using tech stream, then you don’t need 0058. Just trying to be helpful.

For you guys itching to flash your trucks to 104r and the TSB, I suggest you just sit tight and let Mat finish up 1.05. It will be worth the wait
