Hey for you guys getting the 1.05 drop tomorrow. Please post only positive feedback. Don’t want anyone to lose their minds over negative feedback (although I doubt there will be any). Also remember that 200-300 miles in is the settling point. Stoked for the guys that get it early.

You mention 4th gear at 50mph in the previous paragraph. What determines 5th gear usage for non-highway speeds?

Also, is TC locked in S mode?

I know this has already been said but let's get confirmation from Mat. Us old school dongle users, are we getting emailed the tune files like the old days or are you releasing a proprietary version of FM for Dongle users?

Follow up question-If there is no proprietary FM then...
What keeps a dongleless user from just downloading the files if the FM used is the same for all?

I was honestly disappointed with 1.04R 87 after 04B04. Marginally better drive, but worse mpg. Hoping for much better from 1.05 87.

 

If the same FM will be used for Dongle and Dongless user on B0400 then what is the difference? What keeps a dongleless person on B0400 from getting an early upgrade opposed to Nov 2nd? Mat would have to release 2-3 different FM to keep this from happening... 1 FM for Dongle folks, 1 for Dongleless, and 1 for Dongle and Dongleless non B0400

 

Dongle users have pcm flash which uses hex or bin file formats and dongleless users have toyflash which can only use i believe it's a p5 file format if recall correctly.
