Shortly after = immediate future. So it would have to be the same day ;-)

Soon back in July was about mid August...... that turned into an actual of October 31...for some.

Expect 1.05 for 04A60 Jan 20th. Give or take 2 weeks.

I have tried to search to find this answer and sorry if it's a stupid one. I am currently running OV tune 1.03 and i believe i have O4BO2. Is there any benefit to get the toyota updated TSB's done or does the OVtune overwrite it anyway?

Mat said he would be incorporating the TSB into 1.05. And that he would provide more detail later tonight as well :)

So is there any benefit to get the TSB done now? Does the tune overwrite it anyway, or do the TSB's need to be done in order to move on to 1.05?

Drown your sorrows by self updating to 04B04 NOW, then you'll be in the first wave of 1.05... and B04 ain't half bad as-is anyhow while you await the new file.

I don’t want to go through the hassle of the tech stream thing, I can’t understand that program (despite me having a copy on my laptop)

Open it, connect it, double click CUW file. That's actually it. There is risk though.

Which is why I don’t want to mess with it. Most of the people who’ve screwed their ecus were trying to flash a tsb

Has anyone loaded the 1.05 final version yet? I mis-read the first page (it is confusing) and I am going dongle-less so I will need to wait until friday (the latest as per Mat). Damn...

I felt like the TSB, while better was very overrated. I don't understand the people who said if their truck had the TSB from the get go they would not have gotten the OVTune. Having said that, 1.04R made a BIG difference...
