$0.30 per gallon is a $6 difference per 20 gallons. If you fill your tank twice a week like I do it's a $48 increase per month. Not saying that's nothing to be worried about, I was just doing some quick math so people could think about that cost difference, and if it's worth it to them to wait for the 87 octane tune.

    I too fill up 2x/week.

$50 a month won't break the bank, but I can certainly think of a bunch of other things I could spend that on. A case of adult beverages (or four depending on your taste), a nice dinner date with the 'missus (apologies for spending $ on the tune, hint hint), etc.
By no means is it a deal breaker, but I just won't realize any appreciable benefit from it.

If it wasn't clear, I do already have the tune and love it.

Slot is open, we would really like to get a MT on the dyno. Or even another AT. The AT requires some extra special attention.. To make it happen I need a confirmation by this thursday.

For the 87 octane tune I do not think we will have plans to dyno it. It's not really going to be a power adding. More of a tune for enhancing driving and eliminating the stock ignition faults with 87.

Trust my truck to be running beautifully after I place my order, it's holding gears, perky, nice throttle response... it's as though it knows!

We should setup a system where you'd have to PM op and request a permission to post form. He'll USPS you the form and you can write your question on it and mail it to @jberry813. If jberry813 determines the post is useful to this thread he will mail you a temporary password which will allow you to post in this thread. You'll have to post the password and tag at least 2 mods so they know you've been granted permission and not just wasting space.

I'm just happy to see some activity back in here - been really quiet the last couple of days. I think kits have been shipping to folks and arriving over the last few days, any updates on experience for those who have recently gotten the tune? How's the lead-time been on sending stock file and receipt of the 1.01b?

Thanks for the update. When I saw tracking numbers coming across beginning of week, was expecting to start seeing some results by late in the week! I'm still weeks out for mine, most likely so trying to live vicariously til then :)

Nothing's been actually shipped yet unfortunately. I think he has his head down in Nissan and Mazda stuff going on, and dyno-ing some Rav 4/corolla/land cruisers to build base maps.
