I'm aware of the Techstream, but not familiar with it. Is that any different that just flashing via OV? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

HOLY CRAP! That was some serious air! Think of how much more air he might have gotten if he was OVTuned...

    @OVTune

    From Post 1

    " *********************************************************
DONGLE-LESS Software Release will be NTL 10/2 by Flash Manager 2.01
    - Dongle-Less users will download files by inputting system ID in Flash Manager "

Dongle-Less AT 04B04 here. Wondering what the above statement actually means? What is "NTL 10/2"? I made the assumption that it was a typo and you meant "NLT 11/2 (No Later Than November 2)".

But the quote below got me thinking that NLT 11/2 Might actually mean NLT 11/2/2019 (J/K) .

On a serious note though, when?

I will not disable it without proof the truck is used exclusively offroad.

Will have more info regarding 1.05 AT today.

Yes it's different than using flash manager. I already had techstream so I did it myself by downloading the cuw file that has been posted many times in this thread. But you can also take it to the dealer and they should provide you with the tsb which would update you from 02B02 to 04B04

@OVTune Just trying to get an idea of what to do with the rest of my afternoon. Do you think you'll send out any 1.04r files, or are you going to hold off until 1.05? I only ask because I am sitting at the computer in anticipation of flashing before the weekend.

I'm just not really sure how much is limited to stock engine tuning and how much is the trans itself. Just found a power mode in the settings on the Highlander. A little more fun if i have to be a soccer mom for a few days.

I did 107 or was it 110 on ko2s. No wobble or anything. But thats about where it topped out.
Edit - it was on the freeway not offroad that would be scary

Yeah im only 50ish miles on 04B04 and i hate how loose the transmission feels. It’s definitly better than 04B02, but its nowhere near 1.04.

I miss the engine braking 1.04 had.

Hopefully I get 1.04R or 1.05 comes very soon.

I’d love to see someone get over 110 in this truck Offroad and not die.

Maybe some LT guys will want it?

Same process really, different software. I would NOT even mess with techstream unless you have OVTune.

1.05 is coming soon so id wait. I did mine just because i like touching shit.

I'm on OV 1.04. I have the same problem: electronics field service engineer and a HAM operator. I have lost count of things I've broken because I don't believe in "if it ain't broke don't fix it." But after I break it, I learn more in fixing it after that. (I wouldn't hope to break the Taco and then have to fix it, though.)

Does 1.05 include the TSB's that Techstream is required for, so making Techstream for the current TSB's irrelevant? I think the first post update says that, but I'm not 100% clear.

1.05 will have the tsb inside it.

Cool. Thanks! Hopefully we see it for 04B02 AT soon... I know Mat is tired of hearing that. But I appreciate his hard work.
