    I can speak for ATs.

I went from stock, and ran all versions of the tune starting at 1.01. Ran 1.04 for a few months.

I had to go back stock yesterday.

If this truck STILL drove like it did stock (wasn’t for the calibration) I would have traded it in for a tundra.

    This completely changed the truck.

It’s not about power, it’s about drivability. @glassremy

How long did it take to get your cable and was there any tracking info? Mat told me mine would be shipped on Oct 30th and it's been dead silence since. No tracking info or reply.

I bought the 2nd license on Aug 4th which I never used due to waiting for 1.05. I upgraded and paid for the handheld + handheld logger add-on (cable) on Oct 10 but the process has been painfully slow I still haven't been able to flash. I am still on stock tune, even 1.04 would be an improvement for me right now. Maybe he is out of cables.

I did the same exact thing. Let me know if you get the file, I'd like to flash it as well. I had to drive with ECT on which wasn't so bad, but was upshifting way too early in just about every scenario.

Exactly. It's like 6th gear is the goal no matter if your doing 25 or 55

Yep, then you gotta mash the pedal to get going which just takes the smoothness and driveability away.

1.05 Question. First of all, Yes, I have read all the posts from the beginning. Painful but valuable. I ended up ordering the tune and recieved my kit Oct.4th 2018. Right after I opened the package I saw Matt post that Hand Helds would be available. So, I asked if I could exchange for a Hand Held and he said "No Problem". Great. So besides having to wait till sometime in December for the HandHeld (according to Rafael) I also plan on eventually doing a Dirty Deeds Cat-Back when he gets them dialed in.

Will the 1.05 be affected by the free flowing Cat-Back?

If it is I'm sure I can buy the logger and get the 1.05 tuned but....That's why I want the Hand held so I don't need to buy a laptop and make my old, non-technical, non-computer smart brain, try to make things work.

To simplify my question I guess I just need to know if the free-flow will have any negative effects with 1.05. I have read where Matt has stated that intake and exhaust upgrades on some of the 1.04 tunes have had negative effects.

And before I get too many Harsh feedbacks...SORRY for the LONG POST!

P.S. Don't forget to lube your front driveline u-joints!

I’m running the URD SPECU system and I’ve noticed no negative effects.

If you do plan on running a free flowing exhaust and want your tune to work better with it, forget the handheld.

Handhelds are cool but using a laptop is easy enough. Plus, logger and custom tuning.

Well the goal was to flash with the dongle-less software to 1.04 because he said he was going to send me the cable first since both 1.05 and the handheld got delayed so this would at least get me started but I've been waiting almost a month since my date of purchase for the cable and 3 months since I purchased the 2nd license.

I understand he is swamped so all I can do is just wait more if I've already waited this long. Although I'm not sure why he would say the cable would be shipped on a certain day and then just dead silence after that. A little communication is better than none or a simple yes or no would suffice. Oh well, I'll check back in a few days I guess.

Any pending kits / switchover kits have shipped out as of today.

We have been having an issue with some packages going to canada because of customs forms which we just got solved today at the UPS service center, and other issues with something about Canada going on strike about sending mail.
Any package going to Canada right now is extra work for us and waiting in line to do paperwork in person, whatever this Postal strike is about has created a mess sending stuff there.

We have been quite busy trying to get back to everyone + finishing 1.05 + updating current / new customers etc. I am trying to get to everyone as fast as possible, our email / tickets have been absolutely cluttered to hell with 1.05 requests, testing requests, etc. We are working on everything as quickly as possible.

Don’t forget to add the STOCK tune totally falling on its face when pulling into traffic in second gear.

Don't feel like logging so if there is no power loss etc. than I'll wait for the Hand Held. (That's what I say now, only 3 beers in me. In about 2 hrs I'll be on my way to the store to buy a lap top and ripping that OvTune box open to start the madness.)

I’d try to get a custom tune for the exhaust.
