@OVTune , I know it's kinda iffy coming from the Ginger, but I had some issues with 6th gear highway performance on 1.05 M/T FO 91. The strange thing is, MA 91 goes like a scalded cat under the exact same conditions. Really liked the low end and throttle response on FO though. I have a log of WOT throttle at approx. 2500rpm in 6th pulling a hill on the FO 91 file. With all the shyte going on, and the fact that others have sent you logs, I haven't sent mine yet..

 

I knew he was working on it but I'm hoping Toyota comes up with something. It would be nice to have a system that could communicate with the other modules, be scanned with techstream and have a warranty.

There are rumors of the redesign Tundra getting a V35A variant TT 3.5L. I really doubt the Tacoma will get anything.

This 2GRFKS has a lot of potential... So much stuff can be done to it but 90% doesn't make sense in a truck. Cams / 7500 RPM / Ethanol tune... This could be a really powerful N/A V6 but it makes no sense in a truck to have a v6 screaming 7500 RPM.

I actually considered doing 7000 rpm limiter for 1.05 but who would even care, makes no sense with the gearing

So it desperately needs boost

I’ve been trying out the manual shifting in the S gears (ECT off) with 1.04. The power this truck has shifting above 2.5K closer to 3.5/4K is nice. Truck actually feel strong and solid. Looking forward to 1.05 and Mats Magic.

 

I’d take a 7k redline! As long as it didn’t change any of the cam timing to effect low end power.
