In my talks with him there is still more on the table in the power department. The first guy on the dyno wanted a very conservative tune.
He had thrown 21 Aug out there and I know there was a A/T that said he could do it. I hope it happened.

@Glenn_R ah I see. You got some insider information, nice.. well I'm never going to complain about more power! Anything to help keep me from going to a full size.

It is good to hear that there is more power left on the table. Perhaps someone who wants to take full potential of tune can take their truck to OVTune. With as many members
on this forum and not a single one (that I know of) can take their truck in to get dynod. Myself included but I am in TX. I would also like for the computers "learning" capabilities to be disabled. I feel hesitation and uncertainty when driving this truck, perhaps the tune will fix it; some of you said it has reverted back.

    Patiently waiting for
    -non conservative tune
-Tune to go with URD SpecU exhaust
-Remove MIL on front cats to install URD Power Extractor
    -OVTune Custom Intake
    -Order #1946 to ship

A '69 Camaro with an LS7/LS9 sounds nice right about now.

@OVTune Mat, it certainly seems like the vast majority of us that have the tune would much prefer that there would be no learning cycle. Can't the ecu and the trans be set at the highest output torque map for both and leave it at that?

Yes I can do that. I'll need someone with a truck and a 4B03 Calibration version who is willing to do driving throughout a few days to confirm, since it can't really be tested on a dyno.

Also, want to let everyone know cases are set to arrive tomorrow and we can finally start getting the rest of these things out the door

Can the driving be done remotely or do you need the truck there?

it can be done remotely, we don't even need data on it. We just can't test it on the dyno because it takes too many miles and cycles to complete

Let me know what you need from me and I would gladly be up for this. I drive roughly 600 miles a week at the moment. Order #1946.

Also about front cat MIL, can it be removed? Looking to delete front cats and replace with URD Power Extractors.

No, we knew it happened just not who and we were wondering if someone was found to go on the dyno. The who part is not important. But with no updates on 1.02 this is the only thing to speculate on till more reviews come in for the people in the fence.

I have that calibration file and am on 1.01b. I would volunteer as the hunting is pretty apparent for me with that added weight I have.

@OVTune Would also be willing to test. Going on two week trip with truck beginning of Sep that will cover all kinds of conditions.

I offered my A/T and was willing to drive down that same week but OP said they rather wait and get a MT on the dyno.

Installed last night on my 6 speed sport. Initial impression. it's like everyone has said. It acts like a normal v6. Which is what I was was expecting so that's good. Will update once I get miles on it.

Also Best Buy was running a discount in their cheap lenovo notebooks. Bought a crappy $100 one. Works well. Didn't want to use my MacBook Pro.
