When is the handheld tuner expected to be in stock? Is there a waitlist?

 

Just to make sure I'm understanding this right; so we will be able to put it in S-mode and it will stay in whatever gear we choose no matter what. So if I pick 4th gear, it won't downshift into 3rd no matter how far I bury the throttle? If so, sign me up.

 

That's only in custom tuning. Meaning you'll need to request it. But yes.

That's not how Mat is interpreting his terms:

"If you are sharing files from this point, for any reason your serial number will be blacklisted. Each file has unique identifiers and licenses within them. - don't like it read my ToS.
Because sharing files around creates a headache for me."

Stolen was the wrong word, I should have said redistribute. His terms on his website are poorly worded with none of the carve outs typical of software.

 

My understanding is that it’ll be accessible through flash manager, just like the 87, 91 and 93 tunes.

 

Have dongle instructions changed since 1.04?

Same process as 1.04. ECU only, no TCU for 1.04r. Here's the dongle instructions.

The word "stolen" was the problem....nobody was stealing his intellectual property without paying for it. I understand "from that point forward" he doesn't want people sharing it for the reasons stated, that makes perfect sense if it's causing headaches for him trying to track stuff.

 

Your right, I flashed back to B04 TSB. It drives very nice. I put a few thousand on 4R.

 

So whats the dealio? @OVTune When is 1.05 going to be released for “older ecu” automatic transmissions? Have we hit a road block or just taking a break from all your crappy ass complaining customers.

He's had a lot of "answers". Do I need to screen shot them all? Or just read back a bit. He literally updates this thread almost daily.
