    I hate it, it's like a switch is flipped. I have the afe intake and all of a sudden that thing roars when i hit the point. Mine seems around 4k though

    No need for gear ratio speed calibration. The speed sensors are in the hubs so nothing to change...

    The only thing that concerns me is your willingness to have the truck run lean while cruising. I know what running lean can do to an engine and it ain’t pretty

    can still be corrected in the tune for proper ratio
    OEM manufactures have lean cruise options in their tunes, as lean as 15.5. Will not hurt the engine.

    Unless, of course, there is something else that gets data from the transmission speed that would effect another part of the system. Not that I know of but maybe. Being able to calibrate the speedo for taller tires is a major selling point though, IMO.

    So it’s not lean lean, it’s just leaner compared to other thresholds in the tune

    We will test what all is capable soon. There are internal settings for speedo.
    One major thing it will fix is shift point based on calculated axle speed, which the ECU uses, a mathematical equation( pretty simple, based on gear ratio, diff, wheel size, etc) to calculate proper speed for internal calculations.

    I’ve decided to keep my Dongle and get a handheld also since my Laptop is 8+ years old and can’t hardly hold a charge.
    Can I log with another laptop when custom tunes are available and send files and then download to my handheld??

    This subject comes up often in the aviation world. With the advancement of injector technology and cylinder head temp monitors, running lean is the best way to go now.

    Depends on how lean. Too lean and you will start to literally melt the internals. But if it’s 15.5 like mat said, it’s not exactly lean like how I think of lean
