Thank you and we(most of us) really do appreciate what your doing for the community. I really look forward to seeing what your able to accomplish though this. Wish we were able to help you out more in most cases I believe.

Its like "coded code" and without the translation sheet is trail and error trying to decipher exactly what's going on? That's what I take from it.

Good luck, die in battle, live in Valhalla. :duel:

I don't want 1.04Bandaid. I'd rather have 1.05 thoroughly done. Thanks for your continued work on this platform. It's gotten so annoying on here with so many impatient people constantly asking and demanding everyday. We know you'll hook us up when it's ready. I'm glad you are throwing deadlines and hints out the door. I personally enjoy them, but then people take it wrong way and think you owe them something, so I'm glad you are doing that for yourself.

I'm enjoying 1.04R/97 while you refine 1.05 and custom tuning.

So I just received the files for 1.04, without reading 50 pages - should I ask for the 1.04R update file?

I was wondering about how the MT’s takeoff was in comparison to the AT. I assumed it was better but you’re saying that the truck will retard the the acceleration to prevent traction loss if you pop the clutch for a hot takeoff? So you’re dealing with a similar bogged down start too?

I had been second guessing my AT purchase right after I got the truck. I just didn’t want to wait another 6 months for a Pro. This was before I knew that Cement was rolled out to the whole truck line in 18.

The MT has some things that are frustrating but its not nearly as frustrating as the unpredictability of the auto. Matt has sorted out most of our complaints with the MT and I'm sure the auto will be night and day better when hes done.

Thanks for the taking the time to reply. I did the 1.02 update over a year ago and didn’t know there were additional flashes since.

I’m trying to read through 30,000 messages now and trying to figure out how to update the new flash with the dongle.

1.04 is the latest release unless you go get the Toyota TSB. 1.05 is in development. Prepare to have your mind blown coming from 1.02.

Email Matt and he will send you the files for 1.04. Support email is in the first post.

No worries Mat! Ignore the few loudmouths with bad attitude and know that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of quiet happy customers eagerly awaiting to see what you do next! :itllbuffout::burnrubber::muscleflexing:

    Matt,

Please remember that for every one of these self-important entitled knuckleheads there are a hundred of us that very much appreciate what you are doing and are perfectly willing to wait for you to complete the update at your own pace.

Yeah those deadlines were soft goals Matt was putting on his team (him and Rafael). They were not hard dates being sent down by a supervisor. Mat is the supervisor and has the authority, and in this case the professional and personal integrity, to stick to his guns and adjust those dates as needed to deliver a polished product. Unfortunately a lot of chuckleheads out there see a date and lack the critical thinking abilities to see those dates as a courtesy provided by Mat to keep us informed, and more as the Holy Writ sent by the gods and signed with Mat's blood. The comedian Jim Jefferies has a good bit about it only taking a few idiots to screw something up for everyone else. This has happened a couple times on this thread lately. I have just been sitting back watching the show , not wanting to add to the madness, but the thread is kinda slow, and I thought I'd throw in my $0.02.

Can't wait for 1.05 to drop, but also I can!

Mat, I'm just happy you have a passion for improving this truck and helping to eradicate most of the gremlins. I'm happy to wait for 1.05 to be as perfect as you can make it. Thank you for your continued efforts and dedication to the project. You have a much greater base of owners and fans who are happy to wait until it's right than who want instant gratification. We support you, dude!
