Wait, what is #18 Wheel speed fix? Are you giving us the ability of fixing our speedo's for larger tires without having to get something like a hypertech?!?!

    Sounds like a time for 2wheel low (if it's a 4wd truck)

Yeah he's fixing that along with the gears cause its the only way for the 18+ owners to correct their cruise control.

I believe that is the case as was previously mentioned but it’s also important as that is one of the key values the ecu uses to determine a lot of other things. Having the ecu actually calculate correctly based on an aftermarket tire height I think is important with the added benefit of the speedometer being correct. Atleast I assume so.

There's definitely a reason we put up with the quirks... Anytime I've gotten frustrated with this truck, I'll find myself in some hairy situation in the mountains and am always amazed by this truck! Glad you had some fun in the snow today

I second this. It has its quirks but it has never let me down and gotten through stuff plenty of times when I seriously had my doubts

Doesn't that TSB just update to 04B04? I'm on 04B04 and the idle surge when turning is still there, although it isn't nearly as bad as it was before.

If you look at the "Calibration Information" section of that TSB, it shows the end result is 04B0400. I believe there are 3 different TSB's that result in the this same ECU calibration.

Windows defender and any other antivirus stuff turned off? I’m not sure why it’d fail, other than that

Since some people perform their own tsb’s does anyone have the .cuw file for the idle surge or the latest tsb which should include all these fixes in the latest file?

Mine does not surge with steering, it may be the A/C, since I hear a little 'click' just before it surges. I will experiment. But most interesting, and unfortunate, my end result after TSB 0077-16 was in fact 8966304B0400, so sounds like another TSB could be a waste of time, i sure hope 1.05 solves this.
