I’d take 1.05 93 “Insane Mode” with S mode gear lock!

 

This is me as well. My truck with 37’s is hopeless. The tune didn’t do a whole lot for me outside of extra power.

However i am extremely excited for the shift lock. In fact I don’t care about anything but that.

 

I wouldn’t imagine this truck with 37s. Looks and driving.

Mat, I’d like to suggest that you include the gear lock tune in the Flash Manager update. It seems like there are a good number of users that are going to request it, and requiring a help desk ticket for distribution will probably add “busy work” to your schedule without much benefit.

Of course, if your intent is to track who has that tune for some reason, help desk is the way to go.

 

Wow the further south I go the cheaper gas gets?? WTF South Carolina how do you get the gas Co.’s to give you pricing lov??

 

Because they don’t have asinine gas taxes

 

Not to dig up an old post..but whoa...If true, likely yota will be sued at some point. I can't believe they would let an engine roll out with massive detonation problems over the long term. I would love to see Mat's data log of this issue. When it happens, how often, does it "learn" to retard timing over time etc.

Not that I don't believe him, but damn if you're throwing that out there at please give us the stats!!

 

You don't have to believe me you can ask the countless people who get very high amounts of misfiring, stuttering and audible knock / pinging just driving on the stock tune.
99% sure the workshop manual says the engine was tuned on 91 AKI, so it will just ping until it defaults to the low octane tables

 

I just got a full tank of 93 for $2.48 a gallon here in FL. I’m ready for some 1.05!

 

Really excited to receive the mass email with all the final 1.05 tunes from @OVTune! I don't know what it is, but my fuel mileage has dropped substantially the past 2-3 weeks on 1.04R 91. Was getting a consistent 20-22 now it's 17-18..

I've seen the same exact thing....from 18-19 to 15-16 (My driving is 90% suburban/city)...gotta be the winter gas like others have said.

 

Traffic has been very heavy. I imagine once 1.05 is out its going to increase. Especially with what we have got this transmission to do now.

With the way tacomas are selling at dealerships right now...im probably going to have to hire another person.
