Are you referring to me? Lol. Yeah, I guess I may have one or two more beverages in me than the previous tunes I’ve flashed. I guess when it prompted me to turn the ignition off, I subconsciously said “F that, let’s see what this thing can do!”

Thanks Mat. Sometimes the best answer is the most obvious one.

    ...flashed and idling

That would be me. I can tell you 1.03, 1.04 and 1.04r were great but Mat has taking this 1.05 to a whole different level. I’ve always been on 93 tunes and it will do what you expect the truck to do. Holds 5th and 6th on highway like no other. I’ve got about 800 miles on the highway test file and now the complete 1.05 after 40 miles is solid.

Guys, Are you seriously worried about your warranties? If so you have two options: .Flash back to stock before dealer service or don't buy the tune. Either way, 1.04 has been great and I'm looking forward to 1.05.

Yeah I agree that with any modifications you have some degree of risk on warranties.

Easiest answer is Mat already said he has our back but make sure you take all precautions anyways so it don’t come to that.

I'm bummed that we only seem to have 92 in WA. I'll just tell myself the 91 tune works better with 92 I guess... :annoyed:

I’m stock geared. 33s. I flashed 1.05 87 successful first try. Let warm up for 20 mins. First drive is hard to tell but smoother overall for sure. There is some nice smooth/good power when you get on it. I did had some weird shifts here and there. One was real bad jumped back and forth between 4th and 5th a couple times real fast. Only happened once though, right when I turned on cruise. Will have to put more miles on it, but as of now I’m feeling 4.88 gears still are going to be needed with 33s. Still jumped down to 4th and 5th more than I’d like it to on the highway. Hopefully it gets better as I put some more miles on it.

Maybe Ill have to go to 91 or 93 octane to get the better 6th gear benefits?

I'm up in Kirkland. I wonder if they still have 100 unleaded out by the racetrack in Kent. I could grab 5 gallons and add 1 to each fill-up. Hmmm.

Try the 91 or 93 for sure. The 87 tune is still crippled by low ignition and lower torque targets. But first get at least 30 miles on it

It’s worth a shot before I regear. It would take me a couple years of running 93 before it would pay for the gears haha I’ll report back! Only a quarter tank left of 87.

Just out of curiosity, how many 2019s have purchased a license? There can't be that many of us...are we still good to go before the 23rd, as well? I actually have the old-school dongle, if that helps?

Also, are you sending some of us our licenses along with the files? My last trouble ticket (#3085) went unanswered, so I figured I'd ask here.

Please and thank you! I'll be over here pacing and waiting impatiently...lol

Or just do 255’s and not have to worry about re-gearing or killing your tranny over time

So it sounds like us dongle 04B04 guys can flash 1.05 using the current flash manager?
