Just curious. Could the idle fluctuations by any chance come from the air compressor kicking on and off for the windshield defroster?

Thought about that as well so I turned off all load - no air / defrost and even turned off radio or anything that could be spinning up the alternator or anything.

To be clear, Mat is right, the idle thing doesn't appear to be a MAJOR issue, but for some of us it does bounce when sitting in D idling. Very impressed @OVTune is reacting quickly to the feedback to adjust for this small item.

Unless you were sitting in traffic, bored or have an aftermarket intake/exhaust that magnifies this sort of thing you could likely go some time and never even notice it, it's that minor, but it is a "bug" and Mat's doing the right thing by holding off on release to iron out any minor wrinkles before full general release!

Good ? I did have defrost on for 8 hours today speed 1 but if I hadn’t looked at RPMs I would not have noticed otherwise

I had seen in the past people were flashing the TSB them selves to run 1.04r without going to the dealer. Are they doing that via tune file from mat?

The idle fluctuations are seen in D only with the brake applied. AC compressor was off. Steering held steady.

I sent in some logs to Mat while it was doing it. I can assure you, he’s actively working on it.

So probably a stupid question here that I can't find the answer to....But what exactly is Flash Manager and how do i download it, or open it? I assume its not the same thing as p5flash/Toyflash. The only things i downloaded to flash 1.04 was ToyFlash and the Tactrix drivers, Mat had emailed me the tune files as well as the original ecu tune file.

If you have the files, don’t worry about flash manager.

Flash manager is a way for him to distribute files and updates.

Mat any chance you can release the 04b13 file for the M/T to see if this idle glitch is present in the manuals as well....;)

The reason I was asking about flash manager was because i would like to be ready to download 1.05 when it becomes available, and as i understood it flash manager is where I would look for new releases.

Ok thanks for the help guys I knew I must have been missing something. I didn't realize that Flash Manager was something released with each new tune, i was under the impression that it was something that you downloaded and stayed the same.
