Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I believe the intent of it is to be cloud based

 

Mine does that idle surge in drive on the factory tune and on 1.04. Once in a while when not up to running temp

 

Damn I hope this is an easy fix. I took the whole weekend off to go driving. Lol

 

I can assure you, this is different.

 

Yep. Mine is doing the idle fluctuation in drive with brake applied. Grrrrr! We waited so long. More waiting!!

Hopefully Matt can get this fixed like today. Haha I have an 8 hour drive tomorrow and was ready to put this tune to good use.

 

Ok so it's worse than the one we had before.

 

Is your truck an OR or a Pro?

 

how different is this 1.05 from "04B13 1.05 MA - 87 octane" this was released I think around Halloween before all the stuff about the EROM / idle maps were posted to explain them.

I think I just had the idle drop low during a turn while braking. Continuing to monitor.

 

How would we be able to read the codes if we ever needed to? Just plug in, then what's the next step?

It’s a legit question because the OR and the Pro have electronic brake boosters instead of the more traditional brake system in a sport

 

R/D truck is a pro and this idle issue does not occur, but I am looking into it, should have a fix tomorrow. Still want to get them all out this weekend

 

Yes and, sometimes identical trucks will react differently with the exact same tune file.
Ask us how we know.

Anyway, still interested to hear what the culprit is.
