Oh and again highway is great for me. I can feel the better torque availability.

Too soon to see how mpgs are doing but they’re not worse. :)

I’m a dongle user and I bought back when 1.03 was released. I’m currently on 1.04 (not 1.04r). I’ve never gotten the TSB. Please excuse my ignorance but how do I know if I need 04B04 or 04A61? I’ve read back about 50 pages and couldn’t find the answer.

I must be technologically handicapped as well. I tried downloading them with the firewall and antivirus turned off and it seems to have worked. But as soon as I turn the firewall and anti virus back on again, it won’t allow me to open either tactrix open port or the P5 Flash...

Leave them off forever if you can. They cause problems with the tune protocol

I agree. Were all on different size tires,weights,2wd/4wd,gears ect. If u don't like how it is do a custom tune.

If you kept files you had to send to Mat, that should tell you. Otherwise, you can use pcmflash to read your ecu ID.

    @OVTune
There is nothing that needs improved at this time for the masses on 1.05 AT 93.

I’m not sure what octane level many of the complaints are associated with, but on 93 the only minor complaint was the idle (and I couldn’t even tell until you pointed it out in a post).

I absolutely love the way the truck drives as I believe most of us will.

Recommend you find the biggest complainer and prove that custom tunes can address the small population of those dissatisfied with the base tune.

THANK YOU for taking the extra time during the “Soon” process to collect inputs and put out a phenomenal product.

    I disagree.

I'm fairly confident you didn't give this out to anyone else to test because I've tested for you and you told me to download with everyone else. I'm not sure of your reasoning for this but feedback from other trucks was definitely needed.

1st to 2nd slippage isn't acceptable as it is, it's a terrible feeling and power stops, then comes back once 2nd is engaged.

Just wait, now someone will make all sorts of noise and begin blowing up Mat's email because much like his desire for an Oompa Loompa, he wants his custom tune NOW!

So is it possible to have multiple custom tunes?
I run cooper st max 255/85 16 till the snow hits then switch to blizzak 265/70 16. There is a night and day difference the way this truck preforms between the two. I am not tuned yet just kinda hanging around to see the reviews. Thx

Just to make sure I'm not crazy I just flashed the TSB on my truck and went for a drive.

On the TSB my test truck shifts around 1600 rpm and there is a noticeable feeling of "shift" where the throttle drops during this. The TSB shifts as fast as possible out of 1rst while the tune does not.
On the TSB, on the test truck, it will upshift and be at 1100-1300 rpm in the 40mph to 50mph range, and my truck cannot hold or maintain speed without downshifting.
On the TSB, on the test truck while coasting in the 40mph range it will upshift and my rpm will drop to 900 rpm or less, clunk, and downshift.

You don't test everything, only pieces. The last file sent to you to test had only highway / 5th/6th gear adjustments.

My post was simply about the time the transmission takes to make the 1st to 2nd change, disengage, change, engage.

Just flashed the new idle fixed 1.05 91 on a warm engine. Let it idle for 12 minutes, drove around the neighborhood, 5 miles.

I didn't have idle issue with either 1.05 91, very steady idle, turn on AC, RPM go up a bit and stay there, very smooth.

The 1>2 upshift is better, shifts a little earlier now compared to previous 1.05, it's acceptable for me.

1.05 is absolutely the best release to date. Thanks for your hard work Mat.

I hope everyone will believe that me when I say I'm not complaining, but I have to echo what Acemastr is experiencing with the rev hang / slippage, and it is quite significant (TRD Sport dblcb 4x4, completely stock, 105-87 with 91 in tank). If this is as good as it gets then I accept that, but Mat did ask for feedback, and I hope this information is taken in that way; not as criticism. And yes, this feedback was emailed to the support email this morning. If it were me, I want to hear the good, bad and ugly, and then judge for myself. I just thought people might want to hear all sides, not just the positive.

Have any of you put significant mileage on the truck yet? If not, I’d highly recommend driving a couple hundred miles before providing any feedback.

Seconded. 20 miles isn’t enough to make judgments.

Absolutely kills me that some of these clowns that haven’t been with @OVTune since 1.01 have the Veruca Salt complex or just don’t grasp the concept that a 5 mile test drive isn’t enough to let the truck learn.
