Well, there goes the rest of the files being released today. Nothing against you Mat, but every single time ppl bitch about something on here rather then listen to you and use your email service to get a hold of you. Please take some time for you, it's Christmas man, you deserve a break.

Also I’m still not sure what people don’t understand about using the proper support channel if they have an issue.

I accelerated to pass a vehicle and the truck "stuck" in 4th gear at 78 to 81mph for 5 or more seconds once without moving accelerator peddle.

    File , email sent.

Oh, I have no doubt that I'll get it. I'm not even in a hurry now that I understand how your distribution works. Take your time and don't forget to enjoy some of your holiday, brother!

I was simply curious who else is getting it for a 2019 since nobody has posted about it. It's good to know that I'm not alone in that regard.

Ok guys with 1.05 already. If you have an issue don’t post it here. Mat is asking that you send it directly to him:support@ovtune.zendesk.com
If you were here you’ll remember the:crapstorm: that happened a month or so ago. That wasn’t fun.

I highly recommend flashing at least the 91 file or preferably the 93 as on the 87 file I'm pretty sure that your not getting much more than shifting and a few other enhancements so no extra power so if you want more low end you need at least the 91 tune file flashed.

The tune can wait. Hell... I always wait. I'm still running v1.03 on my truck. :p
Personally, I never could understand the mentality of "Hurry up so I can load the new tune tonight.. because I've got a 500 mile trip coming up tomorrow!"
I trust Mat's abilities, and that he will always make every attempt to do the right thing. But I wouldn't want to be on a trip (like "L-Schlegs") and find out my truck has an issue. :annoyed:

This thread should probably be locked during release windows. It might force people to usually your requested feedback mechanism.

Been here since the beginning and know exactly how it all works. Some of us have learned that posting on the forum actually gets a response versus sending an email to the proper email address.

Also, now that I've posted about the 4th gear issue, others have come out and said they also have it, so it is a real issue. It's a bit worrisome when you're driving 75-80 mph at 3500+ RPMs because the transmission will not upshift. This is not bitching, its called giving real world feedback. Unfortunately, its negative feedback, but Mat will fix it. He has said himself that he did a limited release to certain ECU ID's because of this, so I would hope that others will understand and appreciate those of us who are testing and uncovering issues.

    Dumb question.

    Running 87 on the 1.04

Want to run the 91 but all we have here is 93. Ok to run the 91 on 93?

Yes, you can always run a higher octane fuel than what the tune requires. That's totally safe.

Yes,you can always run higher octane gas on the lower octane tune but not the other way around.

Awesome thank you. Only on my 3rd tank so just want to try. Worth reflash to the 91 or just leave on the 87?
