I have 34" Cooper ST maxx and re geared running 1.03 with SSP it's awesome to drive right ,it's really fun to drive and is really zippy fast around town with ECT on. Highway driving is okay but cannot use Cruise control at all. I am hoping 1.05 can duplicate what i have now and add some holding power on the Highway and fix cruise control!

I prefer the way the shifting is setup right now on the lastest 1.05 93 file myself.

I think you will be pleased if you like 1.03. The tune is settling for me now and feels great, not to mention seeing the jump in mpgs

Same here too! I lose speed quickly. My only mod that would affect it is one size larger tire, C load.

I like the idea of better mpg... lol
I placed my order Christmas Day, so I’m not able to download the current file.

Will the 4>5 5>4 “eco mode” still be available as an option to those who want it?

When I need my truck to be aggressive, I’ll just press the ECT button... no big deal.

You're going to change it because "some" people don't like it? What about the other 95% that aren't commenting because they do like it.

If that is the reason, I'd prefer to keep it as is (for mpg).
We have the ECT button when we want more aggressive shift points.
Also, this seems to smooth out with more miles. I seem notice I have to give it more gas when it shifts to 5th on acceleration after I first flash, not so much after I have 500+ miles after flashing.

    Yeah, me too.

Unfortunately, I believe that we are part of the quiet majority. I'm disappointed that Mat is changing the tune for essentially one person, who is buying a Tundra anyway.

When I reset mine I can average 54.9 on a flat stretch but it finds its way down to 15. Just the way it calculates it when you reset it

The time I flash is back to B04. Unless he has a test file for tomorrow.

Custom tuning should be for the minority....it's hard to tell which that is, but right now it would seem the majority would want the custom if Mat indeed changes the behavior.

Mat has to start 1.05 at a base level for mass release. Unfortunately he has received more negative feedback on this issue and has said it will be available both ways.

Several hundred miles on the 1.05 hot fix. I've noticed this and really prefer this method of highest gear possible IF you're light on the throttle. If I give it a bit more it downshifts exactly where I want and expect it to be... I haven't done any logging yet but in my experience, the "dance" some may be describing is just the TC lock and unlocking. I can mostly confirm this because I notice it shift to 4, then RPM drops again which at first would lead you to think its in 5th, but then I kick it in S-mode defaulting to 4 and RPM does not change.

Slightly separate topic, one suggestion I have would be to reduce the time delay in the upshift after letting off the throttle if thats possible? The delay seems more noticeable if you rev it up higher and then let off the throttle which could be a cause of the "4th gear hang". Putting it in S-Mode in 6, the shifts seems to happen almost instantaneously which is a bit too quick if applied to D-mode, especially if you are going up an incline with traffic speed constantly changing. I personally feel like a quicker upshift reaction somewhere between S and D as they are now might satisfy the masses a little more.

Last minor note, I'm experience the throttle spikes on start up (40ish degress F) as a few others have mentioned here . Nothing major to me since its gone in a minute or two. But thought I'd share my experiences regardless.

All in all amazing work! Even if the 1.05 I have now were the last version ever, I would be extremely satisfied!

It will still exist, to a degree. it's the only way to make the truck act proper on the highway. But I am making a slight change so there is less dance around 40-45mph.
