I wonder if all of the work that went into 1.05 was actually necessary to get boost working properly. I'm surprised that Magnuson hasn't released a super charger for the 3rd Gen Tacoma.

Yeah transmission needed to be fixed first. Once the turbos are installed this next time I don't think there is any turning around so that was the importance of fixing this 100%. Nobody else has cracked the code to tune it. I believe Magnuson has been bugging Mat to tune their product.

Magnuson spoke with us once about it. Then they asked our assistance on the new tundra. I asked about the tacoma and never heard back.
I *suspect* once alientech releases their handhelds they might do something.

And of course there will be another competitor in this market when alientech releases their handhelds. You guys will see. Interesting fellow.

S mode without gear lock does amazing well, once you shift out of 4th. My traction control could not keep up with it in first gear 30mph around a very wide open right hander. Tire smoke and body roll!!!! No sway bar. The mustang gt500 across from me was staring like a deer in the headlights. OVTune :burnrubber:

    Always in process
I put about 200 highway miles on 1.05 today from SLC to Moab averaging 17.2mpg. Overall it used 1 gear higher than 1.04 and held 6th and 5th much better than before. I have 33 tires 4.88 gears and full steel armor.

I did about 30 miles in 4hi and 4 miles in 4lo as well.. in most situations the truck just felt right.

It did have the issue with holding 4th to about 65 mph while merging and then I had to shift to s to get it to go to 5th. Looking forward to the next revision but all in all I'm very happy!
