Oh yah, forgot about the awnings and panel. Makes sense.

That’s the main reason I haven’t gotten a new Roof rack

Buy a jug of it at your grocery/BiMart/whatever and add 3-4 oz into an almost empty tank. Fill up premium.

This is 100% personal preference. Granted you are talking about an auto trans, but it really doesn't matter. Some prefer 0 throttle input to equal engine braking and some would prefer a true coast with no braking. You just can't make the transmission do both with the same tune. I would imagine once the base 1.5 is released, it would be relatively trivial for Matt to have a calibration file that could cater to either preference.

I myself being MT prefer 0 throttle to actually equate to 0 throttle and engine braking.

With 1.05 I was able to predict when the truck would shift. I could actually play with the throttle just enough to get it to shift when u wanted. It was actually predictable.

Hopefully I wake up in 10-12 hours to 1.05 being full release :)

If I keep it under 70 I get better mileage, as other have posted.

Somehow my wife managed 26 mpg in Idaho with a slight tail wind around 65 mph over 140 miles, 103 tune 87 octane. With the awnings and the truck bed full of stuff, generator, 10 gallons of fuel, 5 of water and a ton of s.it!

    Gotta like that tailwind.

Filled up again after running a full tank with 1.05 91 tune. After adjusted for 33 inch skinnies truck got 19 mpg with a mix of highway and city. Loving the tune. Reminds me of 1.03 power but with smoother shifting of the TSB / 1.04 and way better 5th and 6th gear holding on the highway.

Yeah. I’m going to have to have a custom tune no matter what with my 6” Lift, 35s, 4.88s, skids, etc. I’d love to test it all and see what exactly I like and don’t like and then go from there. I cannot wait for the base 1.05 to come out tho. I’m sure the base model would be great just how it is too. Anything is better than how I got this truck off the lot :)

I’m extremely excited to see the mpg. The other day I said wth and actually went 55 for like the first time ever in my truck to see what my mpg could be vs going 65 or higher and I was pleasantly surprised.

Reaching 21 mpg on my trip home from work was like wow. Now if this tune can get me that, with all my mods on my truck that I have and not having to go 55, then damn! However, seeing this almost convinced me to start going 55 instead of 65 to and from work just to get this every day.

33 skinnies will most likely be my next tires, what do other mods do you have? Lift? Re-gear?

33" skinnies for the win! Perfect size for this truck IMO.

100% agree. The beauty of the tune is the ability to compensate for modifications as required. The bonus for those of us that are stock (me) are the driveability and modest power gains. Well worth the $ as far as I'm concerned.

Do you have a gears? Lift? I've had OVTune since 1.02, I'm on 1.04 now with stock tires, how does the tune perform with 33 skinnies?

Oddly enough I’ve been getting significantly better fuel economy driving in S5 mode to and from work. It’s 25% around town mixed driving and 75% highway with a lot of volume so you can’t really go above 60mph. I’m thinking it just runs more efficiently in 5th humming along as opposed to bogging in 6th...

The tires are 255/85R16's, but everything else is just stock 2019 TRD OR. The result is no rubbing or trimming, but I still suffer the same engine/trans issues that everyone else experiences with their AT tacos. The skinny 33" tires didn't make those issues any better or worse, though.

I plan to run the 91 or 93 tune once Mat sends it to me. I also plan to modify the suspension this Spring in order to add a bunch of weight and do some moderate towing. Sadly, and ironically, lifting it will likely result in tire clearance issues that require cutting/trimming.
