When you say, “the coast on let off is fantastic,” are you referring to coasting and then giving throttle and getting response immediately as opposed to delayed?

My biggest stock and TSB gripe is the fly by wire delay, that can be described as similar to turbo lag, that happens for me most prominently from a coast between 15-25mph and then attempting a rapid acceleration. Then after/during the delay, either the engine revs high and there’s no immediate throttle response, or it just jolts into a lower gear and then goes but overcompensates by being way more aggressive than is should have been.

Can anyone weigh in on that behavior and if it is addressed in 1.05 for AT and stock everything? Thanks in advance.

 

Any delay in my opinion is gone. Almost too touchy but just took a minute to get use to it. ECT makes it very responsive. He may of been talking about the way Mat changed it so it coasts more now then before. Very nice when I've been driving around town. Average went up 4-5 mpg.

Also before 1.05 the truck generated torque by downshifting. That is no longer the case.

 

He is not the only one that notices your incessant, ignorant posts. ALL of the information regarding Mat and OVTune's product is contained within the boundaries of this thread. The problem is that you (and many others) outright refuse to do the research necessary to answer all of the possible questions a Taco owner might have at this point of the product's development. When the throttle is feathered or foot completely lifted at speed the truck coasts/glides like you dropped it in neutral. I tried several times to get it to actup, with varring degrees of getting back on the throttle from lightly to flooring it after coasting. Not one unpleasant response from the tranny or engine. No jerks, pops, bumps, or bangs. It just starts going again in a predictable manner appropriate for the throttle you have given it.
