Thank you everyone for the support and patience. I don't know if the hurricane or the holidays is causing it but our delivery didn't come yesterday. As soon as our batch arrive orders will be flying out the door as fast as possible.

1.02 will be finished Tuesday so all new kits going out will get that.

We are working on scheduling a MT to put on the dyno too now.

Do you have an approximate ETA on an 87 tune? It's the lack of an 87 tune and the tranny update that is holding me back from ordering at this point...

Now I know I will get tons of negative replies on this question, BUT, here goes. I already have the SSP installed on my 2016 A/T Limited. If I order the OV Tune do I still need the SSP or does the OV Tune rectify the known issues on the Gen 3. I think the answer is probably buried somewhere in the almost 5K threads on this subject. I have read ALL the questions/answers regarding the tune but I can't remember if the tune is a cure all !! May have to pull the trigger .

 

I don't believe it'll be as sensitive as the SSP, but people with them have removed them since the tune.

I haven't felt the need to use the ssp since I got the tune except for a few times where I needed those specific shift points in some offroad/towing situations. It's become more of a tool for me now.

 

I still use the SSP with the tune, but not as often. Perhaps after 1.02 I'll get rid of the SSP.
