I simply searched this thread for posts by OVTUNE with "handheld" in them and this is what came up...

Last I knew it he still needs the ECU files for the 2019 MT but it will be supported soon. I'd just hang tight for a few days until 1.05 is finished rolling out to the majority of people and then I'm sure 2019 ECUs will follow shortly after.

If there's no updates in a week or so, I'd contact mat @ support@ovtune.zendesk.com

Only email 1 time and he'll get back to you as he goes through tickets, sometimes it can take a couple days with the volume of emails right now.

Ditto, that was the # 1 reason I bough the tune, coming from a second gen I was disappointed in the low end power in spite of advertised HP numbers. Other than the off the line "stumble", I had none of the other problems other people have reported. Bring on insane mode for the M/T...:burnrubber:

It will be... in upcoming weeks. Please don't pester Mat about it now.[/QUOTE]

Don’t even know how to pest mat, I just bought the tune a couple of days ago. I think reading through the faqs on the OVTune site and the forum will help with not being a pest. How or what would you customize on the tune?

I have a 2019 stock TRD Pro and I’m getting about 19.5-21mpg combined with no tune yet. Are you trying to drive it like a race car?

    Mat,

Will the handheld tuners be loaded with all the previous tunes including 1.05?

He has said it will hold 5 tunes. For me, that will be stock, 87, 91, 93, and insane mode all custom tuned to suit my heavy truck :)

Too early for me to make a call on the "aggressiveness" of 1.05. The most notable change is the nice middle ground feeling in the throttle. No more "all or nothing".

Personally I think it would be nice to have a "Sport" mode engaged by the ECT button.

I just mean the guys who bought the Tactrix. It'd be nice to switch to a regular 89 octane on the fly when I can't find premium. (road trips)

    Everyone has the tactrix.........

It's the physical connection between your laptop and the truck. Otherwise how are you flashing at home?

The handheld does whatever it will do, but it's just a more compact, user friendly method of flashing

Don’t worry. A lot of people in this thread think asking question will lead to weeks to delay for the their tunes. Just ignore them. Ask away! Most of the stuff you need is in the first post or the blog link.

Also the custom tune you have to create a service ticket. I think the email link is in the first post. You can customize things like tire size, gearing, and best of all, gear lock!

You’ll be last on the list if you want something customized though. I created my ticket about a week and a half ago. I haven’t gotten anything except an auto generated acceptance email. I doubt I’ll see anything until next month.

Why are people even requesting custom tunes!? He does not even have the current files rolled out yet. /SMH
