I'm getting the same thing. Not just in park though. When I stop at a light the idle remains steady for about 3-5 seconds, then it starts to fluctuate and gradually makes it's way to bouncing between 500 and 700 rpm. I tried putting the truck in neutral at a light to see if it would do it when not in gear and it did it then too. I probably wouldn't have noticed it, but at the low end of the fluctuation the truck shakes a little like it's right on the edge of stalling before it kicks in a little more fuel to bring the revs up. It's almost like the idle was tuned a little too low and it's causing some safety mechanism to kick in. @OVTune, is that a thing?

Can someone tell me if this is all in my head? After reading all of OVtune's blog posts, I thought it might be a good idea to run 91 octane on my stock truck (received new engine tune already via TSB).

After three tanks, I am seeing my MPG increase slightly, and the engine feels smoother and pulls just a little bit harder. I figured that the knock sensor would allow the timing to advanced a little bit if I used 91 octane.

Is this real or is it placebo effect bullshit?

Nothing running but the engine. I even turned the radio off. I also did the standard 10 minutes idle immediately following the flash.

Only about 50 at this point, so I'm not freaking out yet. Just commented because it seemed like it was was already a trend.

I remember at least one person saying it went away after running a whole tank of fuel.

The idle flux is a symptom of these trucks. Don’t sweat it. It has to do with all sorts of differences from the 4.0 and the fuel saving blah blah blah. Mine stopped doing it after a 100 miles or so

Fingers crossed. I love how this thing drives now so much, for something that dumb to prevent perfection would be annoying. But.. considering the vehicle calls for 87 stock, and I always run 93, I can see how it would need to calibrate after a fresh flash. That might not make any technical sense, but /shrug.

Sick of reading all this bs from the 1%.
Tune is awesome. So much better than stock. I was happy on 1.04. I'm extremely happy on 1.05. Idle fluctuations WHEN COLD. Who cares. As soon as it warms up it's amazing. Low end power. Holds gears better. Shifts smoother.

Easy there sailor... You must have missed the part where everyone says they are extremely happy and agrees that the tune is awesome. Sharing experiences and behaviors isn't BS. It's helpful on many levels.

If your idle doesn't stabilize after more miles submit a ticket for it.(everyone/anyone)
The way that toyota wrote idle control for this engine is nuts and explains why they need damn near half the ignition map for idle.

I can't wait to finish 1.05 rollout, clean up the little quirks and move onto boost. I already have a patched rom setup for it.

My order got in for the holiday sale but I'm running 93 and ready to see my order process when they are back at it soon! Not sure how quick they can fulfill them but I am reading great news on here and looking forward to all that comes from the investment. Great work @OVTune !!!

Ok I call bullshit on that comment, my wife's GX460 is way more powerful than my taco, just saying!
I love the way my truck is running on 1.05! No complaints here!

No idle problem here, just smooth sailing for me.
I did want to ask if 1.05 included the ect gear lock in sport mode. I have tried a couple times to engage it? If not I am still overjoyed with the product and I definitely got my money's worth.
Thanks Mat, your tune is off the chain!
