Slow night, looking forward to the 04a61 fix. Although I’m AT, I feel the MT pain.

AudioControls lcq, JL 13tw5, JL 500\1 and JL 300\4 on JL door speakers. 5% tint all the way around. 5500k HIDs and a 3 inch lift with 33s. Firestone ride right air bags. Black Oak LED 30 inch SR and spartanx hoodscoop LED.
Not complaining just wondering. I flashed about a week ago and have about 300-400 miles on the truck. I have a 3 inch lift and am running 285s. I know I know “prob gonna need a custom tune” but I wasn’t having this problem with 104 and ran it about 5000 miles.
However with 105 All shifts are really smooth! 1 and 2 shift like butter but the truck seems to shift too quick into 3rd and then immediately into 4th. Once in 4th it’s seems to lug there and then go to 5th etc... then whenever I come to an incline I almost have to floor it to Maintain speed. It’s almost like the truck is refusing to downshift. I drove from “Atlanta” to the mountains today and the only way I could keep from running my truck off the road and into a tree ( I was getting pissed) was to use the ect button because the truck refused to down shift on an incline (to maintain speed) until I lost enough speed it had to.
Should I reflash and is anyone else with “larger” tires experiencing this.
Ps I don’t have any armor winches etc. ..

Drove a few. Wasn’t impressed. Can’t get a 4Runner since we have one. Maybe I’ll wait to see what Toyota does in 2020 with the tundras.

The most recently released one (my 3rd version of it)

    93 octane.

I’m getting like 23 mpg average on this tank. Running 265/70r17 and icon coilovers to level it.

Really impressed with 1.0.5 93 on my stock truck. Every time I accelerate in 5th it seems to find a ton of power that wasn't there before.

At first, I thought it was a downshift but it was way too smooth. Shifted into S-mode and sure enough it down shifted to 4th.

Not sure how you did it Matt, but very pleased with the tune.

Downloaded the files per instructions: Dongle drivers, Tactrix Drivers, and Flash Software.

When opening PCMflash, I get the following prompt.

"An updated version of the software was found. Would you like to download build 1.1.98-1 released on 2018-12-31?"

If I click yes, it takes me to www.PCMflash.ru which is a Russian website.

    What is happening???

if you downloaded from our blog post make sure to extract the files

I clicked on the 3 links in the instructions. Still don't see the file in any folder. Searched the whole computer. Is there an extra step I'm supposed to do to find this file to download?

Mat said this base tune is more in line for the stock trucks. That all lifted and larger tires and re geared trucks will be wanting to make adjustments with custom tuning! 1.05 takes a bit of time to get to the hang of using your right foot to drive it. I am having some of these issue's but i am trying to learn the new behavior of this tune on our custom trucks ( Heavily Modded trucks )So i would try to get the feel of how tranny is tuned to work on 1.05.
