Hope I don't get yelled at for asking this... (I did search to no avail) but is there an ETA on the handheld?

Not more power, but different behavior from the transmission (longer gear holding/higher rpm until shift)

Yes it's available. How to get it depends on if you're "Dongle" or "No Dongle" (neutered).

It will hold 2nd longer ect on . My shifting sucks videoing in S mode and If I hit my rev limit she falls flat. I think mat said it was like 6300. 2nd gets up there quickly so you sort of have to anticipate it as it’s definitely not instantaneous

Does anyone know if the 7K redline option will be available for the AT's? The WOT shift points will have to be altered too to make it work. Maybe Mat can chime in when he has a moment. Liking 1.05 so far.

Try launching at S2, then shift manually after that. That may help.

As for D and ECT PWR on, the part throttle feel and shifting is different but full throttle shifts the same. At least thats been my experience.

All pending orders go out this week, many dropped off today.

We are still working on updating a few stragglers / new customers / fixing idle on trucks with issues.

    Everything is moving smoothly.

Hey Matt, OVTune is also Mat btw... and he has said the original set of orders should go out sometime in early january. Id suggest searching for OVTunes posts with the word handheld in them in this thread and it should help.

    Short true story...

So, I just arrived home from my initial 50 mile drive on the 1.05 93 tune, walked into my house, and entered my wife's office. She had no idea where I had been for the last few hours, so she asked without looking up, "Hey hun, where ya been?"

Me: "Hey, OK, so, please don't kill me..." This is always the wrong thing to start off with, but it was all part of my plan. She looked up sharply from her laptop with daggers in her eyes.

Me again, "...but I got a new truck."

Her, throwing her hands up, "Whaaaaaat? You just got a new truck last month! What the hell?! What was wrong with the Tacoma?! Was that engine really that bad that you had to run out and get a new one? IT'S ONLY BEEN A MONTH!"

Then, after staring at me for what seemed like another hour, but was obviously just seconds, she calmly asked while resuming her work, "How big of a hit did we take on the Toyota, exactly?"

Years of practice told me that she was beginning to get a little angry, and I didn't want her to lose her shit, so I replied with a simple, "Babe, it's fine, we're good, I promise. You had to know that this was coming with all my complaining. Just come outside and check it out, please babe? I'm stoked about this and want to share the excitement with you. Give it a chance for a minute while I explain."

Her, slowly standing up to follow with a resigned sigh, "Uhhg, fine. What truck did you get? Is it new? Did you get that damn Rebel?"

Me, taking her hand in mine, "Just come on, I'll show ya. Let it be a surprise." Big grin.

Her: "Fine." (which, as everyone knows, never actually means "fine"...)

I took her by the hand and quickly led her out to the driveway where her face took on a very confused look while stopping dead in her tracks to stare at my good old beloved Taco, "What is this? It's the same truck, isn't it? What's this about? You're such a dork...I don't get it."

Me: "No, babe, it's not the same truck, though. It's an entirely new truck that just happens to look exactly like the old truck."

She turned to face me and I watched as it slowly dawned on her what happened. Her face went from a borderline angry and confused expression to a knowing one. "YOU GOT THAT NEW TUNE THING, DIDN'T YOU?! That's what this is about?"

Me: "Your'e g'damn right I did, babe, and it's definitely not the same truck."

    THE END.
