Currently have a 4 pot loaner while my HPFP is changed.... glad I didn't get this! Transmission shifts are smooth as butter though. It just can't get out of its own way!

I can't stand tuna... I guess it's because I grew up with cats, and opening that tuna can just has the aroma of cat food.

But I can say this... My company is directly involved in the production of Folgers Coffee (which is sold at Sam's), and the Folgers you get at Sam's is EXACTLY the same as the Folgers you get anywhere else.

I do appreciate the feedback everyone, better or worse, issue or preference, in the end it's to make a solid tune everyone will enjoy.
Lately, there has been quite a bit of unnecessary fighting on the forum, over issues, files, feedback, etc. Lets all try to be mutual to each-other.

I want to make sure everyone understands the reason I want any issues (or even preferences that you may think are an issue) reported to us via our zendesk is because it's the only way we can accurately track what is going on, and implement what's necessary to fix it.
This forum is a great place to share, but it's very hard to track what is going on.
So please feel free to openly discuss, but also! please make sure to share it with us via zendesk. That's the only way I can see what is going on.

Info will be on main post as well
As far as custom tuning goes, we are getting a lot of requests. Soon we will have a blog post that is going to cover what will go into, and what will not go into custom tuning. Just so everyone understands, individual custom tuning of every single truck by log, adjust, log, adjust, log, adjust, log adjust, is simply not going to be possible. So we will be making "sets" of files that we can select from and adjust from as needed for mods. (like gears, or bigger tires, etc).

    For example:
    1. 1.05 base mpg / 1.05 base shift lock
    2. 1.05 base mpg + better throttle response for every gear by dialing individual throttle by gear tables
    3. 1.05 base mpg + above + 4.88 shifting
    4. 1.05 base mpg + above + Shift Lock
    5 1.05 base mpg + above + etc + etc

So we will have files setup for people >

And then from those points, trucks that do need logged and adjusted further (case by case basis) (because there are some trucks Like Cumbubbas whose really needs off the wall shift settings, which is nobodys fault, it's just odd) will get additional necessary tuning.

Hopefully this helps everyone understand the plan for the future.

i found 1.05 91 has more power for my truck and type of driving (grandma style), I found 1.05 has a smoother idle, lower idle, no 'rev' when putting it in park and 10x better for using cruise control. I was on 1.04r 91, my truck is 04B04, 2016 TRD Offroad, all stock, still have original tires in fact.

Just curious, what about for those who don't really care much about mpg? Looks like everything is geared toward better mpg. I'd much rather have an aggressive 91 octane tune that doesn't want to get into 5th gear asap. 87 octane should be the "mpg" tune IMO.

BTW - since getting 1.05 i actually don't drive grandma style as much, since it's so nice to be able to press on the accelerator and actually move out, I tend to be a much more aggressive driver now, because i can, and its fun!

Same here,my primary reason for purchasing the tune was more power/performance to make up for larger tires and added weight.

I think Mat spelled it all out! There will be updated files to make those adjustments they all start with the base tune!

I am aware of that,I was just pointing out that there are some of us here looking for performance gains over mpg. Hopefully Mat considers drawing up some maps specifically for that off of the 1.05 base tune.

I prefer the longer first shift, especially in traffic. It gets better mpgs overall because the trucks momentum can maintain from the start. The idle is normal until it learns. Several tunes have done this

Very reasonable re: discussion/trouble ticket and approach to custom tunes. AND I noticed that the first post was updated immediately.

    Thanks!

There are a couple of guys testing the throttle tables,Mat indicated he was waiting on feedback from them and then it should be about ready.

I think just the 5 examples he gave cover some performance! He only gave 5 as an example i am sure there will be more then5! The only thing i haven't seen him address on hear in a long while is if he will release an INSANE MODE! I bet he is a bit reserved in a release of the INSANE MODE!
