Fantastic write up! Excellent gains and I cannot wait to try it. Would you share plans for map distribution? Will we all receive the files by email with no action on our parts or will a request need to be made?

Thanks for all of the hard work, @OVTune ! These are awesome updates! For me personally I'm no longer concerned about maximizing power given the improvements I've loved in 1.01. The additional smoothness in the low/mid, shift enhancements, and the intake/exhaust stuff is MONEY! Can't wait to take it for a stroll!

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
So with the added hp/tq over stock you gave us a solid 300hp and extra low end torque Tacoma with many other added features....

From tomorrow all kits that go out will come with 1.02 standard for 91 and 87
for everyone with a kit we will send to your email 1.02 91 and 87.
To get to everyone it may take me a day or two.

Thank you for the support! I believe 1.02 will be the pinnacle of power gains for the truck over stock. From here we are going to start moving into optional features and logging.

Looking at the dynos, the very low end seems to have higher numbers with 1.01B than 1.02. I know low end testing on the Dyno isn't good
But I wonder if this means anything?

I can't wait for the reports on the transmission adjustments combined with these new engine tweaks.

I wish this was something you could try before you buy. Edit: I'm not asking for this to be given out as a "trial". This is just the wishful musings of a tired Tacoma owner.

we're down power everywhere on the graph due to temps. The gains today were by VVT alone main focus 4500+, we lost a lot of ignition from the temps and you're seeing that on the graphs. A couple degrees in the low RPM makes a very big difference in torque.

with the feedback I'm getting from people with our tune and the added bonus of several people reporting MPG increases on top I probably won't be offering any "demos" lol

    Mat,
aren't you planning on dyno time with an MT? if so, can you share what you're thinking with what you want to do there, if that's the case?

I have noticed taking a road trip during the heat of the day vs the morning results in staggering differences in mpg, and huge differences in wether or not it hunts gears. Truck really doesn't like hot air

Absolutely, that is next on the list. The MT guys are lucky they have so much less nannies inside the truck from the automatic transmission, It's just that the vast majority of our customers have been AT trucks that we really want to make sure we take the necessary time to get the truck to act like people want it to.

it's a problem all of these high compression engines have. Mazdas Skyactiv has the same issue (@ 13:1 CR). The compression cannot support hot air without drastically reducing ignition.

So I'll ask, did low end see gains at all? Temp seems to be mis leading here.
