Did you reselect your ECU in the new tool? I had to do that.

 

For Dongle Users this used to be a whole lot easier.

ok so just installed new cable drivers and restarted. disabled antivirus and still everything is greyed out in p5flash. Something is screwy, this should not be this hard. Is there anyway we can use the old p5flash utility to upload the new file so I don't have to waste any more time on this?

 

at least you can run the new FM, I can't even get it to run

 

As a dongle user, I’ve read through the instruction things a few times and I can’t download any of the tune files. Starting to get a little irritated

 

For people who have old dongle kits. Make sure you are using the dongle software (not P5Flash utility). Dongle update software is at bottom of blog post.
You will have to select the Toyota P5 template in new Dongle Software. (from drop down list)

 

Is anybody else getting this issue.

 

what is your ECU ID, what are you trying to download. Did you click "UPDATE"

 

at work, missing all the fun with the new flash manager...

 

it sounds like p5flash isn't detecting your registration. is the system id showing up the same as the old p5flash?

 

I’m 04B03, I have the new FM downloaded, purged local data, installed all software, updated, and I can’t download any tune files. I can’t run P5Flash utility either

 

Are you running windows 10s that only allows things from the App Store?

But how do I download the tune files? I get the Encryption Error whether I use chrome or Edge. In a year and a half of being a Dongle user I've never had this issue before.

 

You are a dongle user. You don’t use p5flash. You download the new dongle utility from the link at the bottom of the blog post.
