Does the cruise have any effect on gear lock?
Mine downshifted under cruise but I'm not sure if it's an effect or in my mind.

Guess I'm not most. First thing I did was read everything twice.

 

gear lock does not work in cruise because when you are using cruise there is 0% accel angle, locking is control by >0% angle.

 

were you on any previous version of 1.05 for MT? if so, which one, and can you compare? the MT guys on various versions of 1.05 are trying to figure out if these FM-downloadable 1.05 for MT files are new, or the same as stuff that we already have, and if so which files.

 

Well that would be why my first post said it was no workee. I'll just have to get used to pedaling it up the hill.

 

I was easily able to update all the software install the performance 93 tune. Throttle is super touchy and causes the truck to have a lot of grunt from take off which is nice. Mine seems to shift from 3rd to 4th too quick then instantly back to 3rd. Once it winds out a little further in 3rd it shifts to 4th no problem. I'm also experiencing a scenario where it's only in 5th for a second and then it's dropping to 6th and the rpms are pretty low. I'm hoping some of this works out after several miles. I didn't unhook any battery terminals or anything and I'm pretty new to the Ovtune thing so I don't really know what to expect to be fair.
I'd love the ability to lock it out of 5th below 50 mph and 6th below like 70 mph. My truck seems to shudder/stumble/fish bite feeling when it's in 5th or 6th and I give it enough gas to start increasing speed but not enough to cause a downshift. For me this typically happens when rpms are below 17-1800. Seems like if I could force it to stay out of the overdrive gears below those rpm's I'd be golden. Maybe I need to get with @OVTune and see about a custom tune when all this mess quiets down haha.
If anyone has any experience with some of what I'm feeling etc let me know. I'm about to the end of my rope here.

 

I assume you are using CC without a load/towing?

 

I can download the BASE files just fine. I can see the others in the dropdown, but I've UPDATED, I've UNINSTALLED, I've REINSTALLED, I've

What ecu do you have? There are a few that don't have any download but base.

 

Was on 1.05B. FOB definitely feels stronger on the low end. Mileage went from ~19 to ~15 on the short run.

 

Probably because most people really romp on it after flashing a new tune

 

shoot me now. Same screen here 04B02. Waiting on new registration for computer swap ( mule to feather = desk top to lap top). On 04B03 per 1.05. So should show 04B03 with update once new registration completed?

How many miles did you put on it? All of the relearning has to take place. You should not take the first few miles as settled.

 

New versions are finished, will be posted in a moment.


Also, regarding the performance and Gearlock tune. Don't have a heavy foot. you will see that being very light on the throttle is all you need for normal driving.
