find out if you have 32 or 64 bit Windoze. x86 for 32 bit.

 

Install x64 if your computer is 64 bit os. X86 if it’s 32 bit.

If you don’t know just download both and try installing x64, if it won’t install use the other one.

 

If you have a programs x86 folder in your C: drive you're 64 bit.

 

When I get to step2 of software setup and try to run the flash manager it goes right back to the set up start again? Help...

1. When will we be ready for custom tunes for tire size and such?

2. Boost? When will that be happening?

This is by far the best my truck has felt. Awesome work!

 

How important is it to clear learned values with techstream? I have about 3500 miles on my truck? Just in do the battery terminals for about 30
Min? Before or after flashsing???? @OVTune @Shellshock

 

If you're unsure, just use x86.

Which file for dongle users ?

 

I’ve been around for the last 80-100 pages or so.. I recall some stuff about cruise control and the changes with the flash.

I drive 100 miles or more everyday and use the adaptive cruise a lot. Does the tune fix the super erratic shifting the stock flash does? @OVTune

 

Yes I did them separately. I think transmission has both listed TCU/ECU

 

I’ve never done it. It’s not in the instructions.

Some people’s trucks have had issues and this was the recommendation to clearing learned values (on most trucks they clear as part of the flash)

I wouldn’t worry about it unless there’s a problem after 50 miles or so

Ok it worked, but I cannot identify, read, flash etc

 

Looks like the x86 version may have been packaged with the Wrong 64bit QT dll's

 

1. That is a new computer you have never registered
2. you're a dongle user and should be using dongle flash software

If you have updated and downloaded, you can now run pcmflash utility (dongle software) from an option in the flash manager now.


So these new releases come with Dongle flash software update option built in as well.
