Of course kidding... I am enjoying the hell out of 1.01b as it's gotten my truck to a point where I actually enjoy driving it. I suspect that 1.02 might make me love driving my truck. So excited, yes - impatient (only a little...) :)

And unfortunately I work mostly 12 hour days during the week.... I have intermittent short breaks from the madness though and following this thread keeps me going this week!

Any plans to release a 92 octane map for those of us in Oregon and Washington? Seems like we are leaving some power on the table if we use the 91 octane map.

How about a map for those who want to stay OEM but have the TRD Intake and Exhaust? The OVtune and TRD Intake And Exhaust are the only mods a lot of us will ever do.

I mean Android and Google both allow backwards "upgrading" to old operating systems. It's not a crazy concept.

Maybe a 1.01B user has adverse changes with 1.02, heaven forbid they'd want to go back to the stock toyota tune hahaha

He says the tune runs better on 92/93 octane, we only have 93 here so I'm running that until the tune arrives.

Before I throw any money on the table for this type of upgrade I would need to understand why peak horsepower isn't increasing? if it's an RPM issue and the engine is exactly the same (including even lifters\springs) then why could we not have the same RPM increase as a Camry ? 80% of horsepower to the wheels is roughly 222 and I'm talking stock intake and exhaust.

I hate to sound my age but I do wonder how bad the tune affects mpg since we get so much better mpg than the old 4.0. That is by no means a deal breaker. Just curious. And another note I think 91 is the most available in my area. There may be a 92 here or maybe a 93 somewhere but 91 is pretty much it.

These Dyno numbers we lower because of heat and humidity. 1.01 gained 9 or so over stock and 1.02 gained 7 or 8 over 1.01.

This is where I'm getting confused, I don't know anything about ECU/TCU what are you talking about 04B02/03/01? I have been to the dealership and have had Rev1 done along with adding .5 qt trans fluid back in Jun. I have read every page of this thread and checked 1st post several times. Just been waiting for final product before I order so am I good or not?

anyone who needed their ECU updated I told them when getting their stock files via email. If you didn't get an email from me asking if you could go to the dealership to request the ECU update, then you don't need it.

I'm not leaving anyone out there lost. You don't have to know what your ECU is you simply follow my steps and if you so happen to have a 04B01 I mention it to you and explain that it would be best to have it dealer upgraded prior to our tune.

I should have a *majority* of 1.02 updates out tonight.

I really hope you guys did not take work off for the update. I understand everyone is excited.
