Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I’m awaiting my registration from
Mat! My truck is a 2018, purchased in October. No updates. Anyone care to guess what ECU calibration I have?? And will it likely not be available for proformance tunes right away?

 

I've seen a cpl responses about a handheld? Will this tune/tunes be available on a handheld device eventually like the Cobb accessport.? If so what's the timeframe.

Answer: They are on order and Mat is waiting on the developer/manufacturer. They are going to happen, but there is no hard date.

 

Anyone have a link to download initial software setup?? The one on ovtune has been removed.

It’s there but errors out when trying to download if AT is selected.

I’m heavy with 33’s” and it is aggressive. Shift points are a little off, but it pulls these 60lb tires effortlessly.

Awsome. I've read enough of these pages to know what the "soon" joke is. Soon means eventually basically in mat language lol. I'll wait till and if a handheld comes out. Ive had several turbo cars with Cobb accessport handhelds and it's so easy to use. Download tunes from the website into the handheld and plug into the obdII port and flash. Also showed real time data while driving. Something like that would be sweet

 

Same here, I did download that, still stuck in holding pattern, oh well, we will wait for Matt to come to our rescue

 

I'm on B03, and since it hasn't been dropped, I haven't downloaded the new FM...

It might be an irrelevant question, but are we be able to download multiple maps in a single session so that we can experiment with the various mapping options without having to go back to the FM each and every time?

 

yes. you can download everything.

 

Yes you can download all if you want. I downloaded all 04B04 tunes.

 

First thing I did was go in and download all available tune versions for my ECU. They are stockpiled in a safe location in case I ever want them. As far as downloading to your truck, no. One flash, one tune.

 

Everything is set and ready as soon as I get my registration email. Can't wait! I have refreshed my email way to many times today, hoping.

 

How come no one listens to what Mat keeps telling everyone? WAIT UNTIL HE RELEASE'S THE UPDATED FIX VERSION! STOP TRYING TO LOAD IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUE'S!!!

 

Everyone is talkin tipin is great with the performance tunes but has anyone tried 70mph hills and dales highway yet? That’s what will make me buy the tune,
I know it’s already much better then stock but love to hear some feed back

 

I don't think its doing any harm, they're just trying to troubleshoot their computers so the downloads work.

 

YES IT IS HURTING EVERYONE ELSE WAITING FOR MAT TO FINISH OTHER VERSIONS. IF HE HAS TO STOP AND CHECK ON EVERY ISSUE EVRYONE ONE IS HAVING !
