So OR and Sports fall under TRD? So 16/17 manual and auto selections are everything below a TRD trim and the limited?

 

Even at that, it's about 100 more than I'm used to seeing for Cobb Accessports, so still pretty in line. For the ONLY company out there right now with this option, that sure seems fair to me. Supply and Demand.

 

Its in line for what I paid for me ecutek tune for my supercharged brz. Waiting for the outcome of the dyno and initial impressions.

 

A simple flash for my Audi was north of $1K. This price is more than reasonable considering the current market.

They posted saying they were opening five e&d tunes so I messaged saying I wanted one.

Checking the site they are sold out.

 

My last brz tune was almost 900. It was just a flash as well.

 

This isn't guinea pig kits, it's an option for people with certain models to buy early so we can get their ECU versions.We have to disassemble the data, label maps, build XML files for every new version. This makes it a little easier for us to do so ahead of time, and you get a kit for a large discount for helping us.

In terms of pricing, you are getting the tools, software, cable, custom tune and free updates.

Several hours of dyno tuning at a cheaper price is quite the deal. Normally wheb you buy a dyno tune you get no hardware, no ability to ever flash back to stock if you need to. On average dyno shops charge around 150-200 per hour plus all software licensing cost ( like ecutek, hptuners, etc)

We are ecutek master tuners and if we were selling licensed ecutek dyno tunes for this price we would lose money every time.

We are confident the price is fair for the level of support we give our customers. Our support doesn't really "expire" I've personally helped customers that bought from me 2+ years ago. Now of course there are limitations but in general were always here to do what we can.

Does a 2016 TRD OR count as a 2016 Auto or a TRD? The TRD are out of stock so I wanted to make sure.

 

Show me one Turd Gen tune for any price. Remember this is the nut that couldn't be cracked. I paid more for my 2000 F350 tune than this. Oh, if you want some bulldog shit then you are right.

 

It looks like there is still a 2016 Auto still available on their site.

So yes, 760 is about on par for a tune like this.

 

as long as your vehicle is advertised by Toyota as a "2016" and is AUTO trans, this is all we need.

In regards to TRD version cars we will soon have 2 TRD calibrations to pick apart and will know the relative difference and if we need any additional calibrations

if someone just wants it "chipped" (reflashed) it would be cheaper sending us the ECU. This is the "chip" + the tools to do so via OBD.

Equivalent of buying a Cobb accessport (the tool) and a custom tune (from a tuner) combined.
