Perhaps dropping back down to base tune. Less aggressive throttle response.

Have you cleared learning values with TS after flashing? That might be why you have issues with 87. The trim values aren’t getting cleared properly after flashing. It’s an issue on some trucks

I just downloaded the new FM and of the selection within the drop down menu, there were no 04B03 choices at all - neither base nor performance...

Thanks for the info. I think I'm gonna ride this 87 base for a while then.

I think you may need to look under 2017 but you should probably check with zendesk to be sure.

My wife is starting to give me strange looks because I haven’t left the computer all day. Does anyone know if I can have Alexa tell me when Performance drops for 04B03?

AVS vent visors. 3M Chip Guard. Spiker hood struts, Pro grill with amber Raptor lights, and Baby Yoda start button all incoming. Rek Gen flaps and Bak Flip X4S next on list. Kryptek Ballistic Tactical seat covers in November during their big sale. Tim at Heavy Metal Off Road going to use my truck as a mule for development/fitment/ design of the long bed version of his EXCELLENT rock sliders! His bed rack, ditch brackets, and bed stiffeners will be going on as well.... Awesome products, fantastic service! He is worthy of your attention!
What is Techstream, and how is it used? I've searched using "techstream " and "tech stream" and have seen other people use TS for short.
Will this be helpful before I order OVTune?
Is it hardware, software, or both and where di I get it?
    Thanks,
    Kodthree

It is the software the dealer uses to work on your truck's computer system. You can customize some of the trucks functions, and for OVtune you can use it to reset the ecu's learned fuel trims.

    Thanks, Gents...

It's a 2016 and probably no difference, but yes, will check with Zendesk...

Mat and a few others determined that 10 minutes may not be sufficient. It is the most reliable way to guarantee that it is done. Mat was going to look into adding it to FM or PCMflash.

The year of the truck doesn't matter, just the ECU ID. It should be under 2017.

Thanks for posting the link to TS 13.30 and instructions in your sig. First time I looked at it just now. Think I'll update my 13.20.

ETA: Should I uninstall older version first?

I havent gotten my cord yet, but I think im going to try the 91FOB tune....is it okay to tow with the performance tunes, and how soon after flashing? Nothing super heavy but it will be about 2000lbs. thanks

Performance tune loaded. I think this will be my go to tune once the TSS cruise control is sorted out. I’m normally very soft on the pedal anyways. Feels slightly more aggressive then my Tundra. I like it though.

Yes it is ok to tow,I am sure you could flash, hook up and go but personally I would try to get a few miles on it to let the tune settle in and set learned values.

Nope, shouldn't matter. It will update the one you have. You will need to re-crack it though.

I’ve flashed and towed immediately after with previous tunes. Nothing to worry about.

Does Mat have the latest tunes linked on his blog anywhere? I'm stuck in the never ending loop of dll download, Redistributable install won't run, vcruntime not found, etc. If I can just download the latest tune and install via old flash utility, that'll get me by until the handhelds come out. I'm certain this has something to do with my laptop being older than... well..... Michael Jackson's legend.

PS, I'm a dongle dude, one of the OG's :)
