I originally didn't want to post it when I figured out how to dull the stutter... it's without a doubt the worst looking ignition map I've ever seen from a stock car. Yes that's stock.

I just ask nobody goes to the dealer and says "this guy online says your ignition looks like shit!"

blue is just where the cursor was on the map. that's all.

When you come back up for air in a couple of weeks, it would be awesome to see the side-by-side comparisons of stock vs. 1.02. All in due time though - thanks again for all your hard work on this for us this week.

Well... the Tacoma map has a lot more mountains. Good thing I bought the crawl control model.

Man I wish I could read that graph, I see engine RPM along the bottom, engine load along the side, but what are the green > red?

Looks like a 3 yr old got a hold of the crayons. Do you have any theories on what they were trying to accomplish with the unconventional ign map? I just can't see a major manufacturer doing something without having a reason for it. Makes no sense. I come from BMWs and their tuning is silky smooth at all loads and rpms.

    Likely degrees of ign advance.

No issues here at all. Although i did change my CPS right before install...finding the newest CPS is a bitch. San Marcos Toyota had a couple on Ebay though. A bunch of vendors said they had them and after I paid and waited a week, they all came back and said Toyota had them on backorder unless you were on the recall (which I wasn't). BTW, the newest CPS has TWO hash marks.

@OVTune, the truck runs and shifts beautifully for me with 1.02. The only tweak I could ask for at this point is that if I floor it from a dig, it'll immediately run up to just about 2K RPMs and hesitate for a half second and then is smooth and all the way to redline. Someone else mentioned it in another post. I think they compared it to a quick fuel cut. Listen, I'm not running around town racing from a dig, but if it was a simple tweak when you had a minute to look at it, that's the only minor issue I could find. Beautifully done and great customer service. Also, plenty of wide open roads up here in Montana. If you need someone to try something out, lemme know.

Is anyone else having trouble with the gearbox file? PCM Flash says mine is corrupt or in the wrong format.

Sorry, I don't have a pic off hand. The CPS thread does, but it's of a CPS with just 1 hash. Mine had the same part number but had 2 (one hash on top of the other). The original in my '17 TRDP had no hash with a 3/17 build date. Part number you want is 90919-05098. Some say it won't matter, but if you're gonna spend the cash to replace it, why not get the newest offering? My dealer said there are 3 revisions of the CPS floating around. Toyota knows there is a problem for sure.

Uploaded updated engine and gearbox files and did a quick test drive to check for stuttering. It's gone, much smoother.

Any update on the 1.02 file with 1.01B shifting map? i just saw the email Matt sent out and debating if I should flash it now or wait... I'm leaving on my hunting trip in a bit. Really excited to test 1.02 on the hills... Will be a 5-600 round trip!
