Got my email, new "morphed map" as well as TCU file

 

Up at 5am, 28 miles to work......more than happy to give you a review in
About seven hours.....
Had 1.01a, 1.01b, and now looking forward to this.....

 

When you say waiting for more dongles to arrive are you referring to the tactrix unit or just the guardant licensing dongle thing? Just wondering how soon I should start staking out the mailbox since my order (2051) was without the tactrix since I already have one

 

Where is the TCU file coming from? All I've ever had was one file that gets uploaded to ECU right?

 

4B10 build, no file received. Please give us your review, I'll just sit here and dream.

Edit: while I paid my hard earned money just like the rest of you did, and have nothing to show for it except a taxtrix interface/USB cable/dongle, AND sat through the whole AT feeding frenzy last night... I find myself realizing that none of this means a pile of donkey shit as a major weather event has affected so many lives already and is heading for the good folks in Florida. Stay safe my friends, thinking about you all.

 

Going in next week for 20k service, can you or someone confirm what I need to
ask for regarding this so I have it straight before the tune arrives? thx.

 

Print out the transmission TSB Rev1 that's on the stickies and ask them to update

 

I got my file, I have my 20k service at 9 then I will flash it.

1.02 initial impressions.........
Almost 30 miles in, power seems even smoother in delivery.
Like 1.01b, less input is required to get the truck moving and
the kick at 3500 rpms is somewhat smoother.
I will update this weekend as more miles go on and it adjusts more.

1.01b was very good after it had learned, I'm sure 1.02 will be the same..

 

I need to go into work this morning anyways, but I'm really hoping there's a little gift in my inbox for me later. It's been a long wait since July 4.

 

He said he's taking the weekend off, I'm sure he's earned it.

 

I just finished downloading the files to my computer. Woke up with 2 emails from @OVTune and it seems like this should be the holy grail.

Think I have enough ECU/ECU Files?

 

Maybe if you stop hounding him the rest of us will get our tunes lol

 

I didn't even ask for the emails I woke up to!

 

Some advice for anyone flashing:

Save your stock files to your hard drive
Do not rename your stock files
Bring your laptop/OBD/dongle with you for your first ride

Nothing happened that triggered this. You just never know!

I'll say real quick, I think this is the one we've been waiting for.

 

1.02 on the MT is fantastic, pulls so smoothly from 2000 rpm.
