I think it’s a good practice to do the manual downshifts especially when driving in traffic and most important (for me anyway) when towing. You can then control what gear you’re in for slower speeds and keep the engine from lugging.

 

Hello everyone.
Thank you for being patient with us while we use this time to improve what we can do for our customers.

Several updates.
- Our terms / software / licensing information has been updated. More clear information.
- Some sections of the site has as well.

Instructions:
- Instructions have been updated with a Video + online PDF Instructions for new users. (current users can use the same instructions, you just do not need to register anymore)
- We have a new service we will be providing to people with software issues that are outside the instructions.
This is a new software we use to quickly log into your computer, locate the issue, correct it for you, and we will even flash your truck for you.


Testing:
- We will be sending out test files to some trucks tomorrow.
- Due to delays that, under no circumstances are the fault of the customer, customers who have had issues that could not easily be fixed and were required to do some testing for us, (via logs, testing files etc) including customers that we ask to test files for us tomorrow to locate / replicate / fix issues, we would like to refund you gas expenses for this. We want to keep everyone happy and I understand gas is not cheap, and testing files is not fun. The least we can do is pay for the gas that you use. So if you are testing files with us, we would like to reimburse your gas cost.


Regarding kit status:
It was necessary for us to temporarily remove the kits from our site while we made some system wide updates / updates to our notifications and terms, due to an unusually high amount of fraudulent orders. We got several messages from people unhappy about being unable to get a kit.
The kit is available, however please see on the product page that it is on back-order until cables arrive next week.
At the moment, expect a 5-7 business day wait time for orders.
We will ship as fast as possible and will do everything we can to keep people updated.


Personal:
I'd like to apologize for my reaction. As I am sure many know, we work long hours and put everything we can into making the product the community wants. It's tough work emotions can get the better of us at times. No matter what we want everyone to know we are continually trying to make improvements.

I'm looking forward to what you can do with the RAM dump you got. The MT crowd would love to have you get a truck on the dyno and also have some seat time to feel what we feel. I know we are a small percent of the population, but I also know you would be able to make some serious improvements above and beyond what you have already done for us.

Mat, I want to thank you, your dedication to fixing these trucks is remarkable. You have saved many of us from trading in or selling our trucks. I really appreciate you working long hours, crazy schedules and birth of kids etc these last few years to make us this superior product with continual updates. Anyone else would have given up a long time ago. I should know I have been reading this forum for years, patiently waiting for an engine fix for this truck. I love driving my truck and a big part of that is because of your work. Anyway this is already to long for me... have a beer for me! Cheers

If I was to do any testing or logging for you I would never expect nor accept ANY reimbursement for gas. The improvement's made to the tune as a result would be compensation enough and I suspect most here would feel the same. Keep up the great work Mat

 

I can comfortably say that 87 perf/GL has settled in nicely. However @OVTune is there a way to adjust 4th gear from coming in prematurely? If it's possible to have 4th gear hold itself higher in the rpm range?

 

I'm willing to test anything MT related for free if that puts us to the front of the line for development.
