1.02B along with new TCU file loaded. Took it for a spin this morning to run some errands, and it's shifting like butter. Going to put some more miles on it before I make a full assessment. But I think this might be the perfect version.

 

Confirmed 1.02 v2 is shifting like 1.01B again. That combination, right now, is driving great. 80 more miles before I confirm this is the bees knees.

 

Great to hear! Mine's flashed, but haven't had time to drive yet (home repairs call...) but look forward to it based on this report!

This is it, from what I've gathered online.

 

He asked what the 4-cylinder ECU looks like, I showed him.

 

So I just loaded the 1.02 ecu and 1.02BB tcu. When starting the truck after the tcu flash the truck would not start, just kept turning over. Freaked me out so I turned the truck off. Hit start again and it fired up. @OVTune should I be worried? Is it suppose to be idling at 1k RPM?

 

Is anybody using the 87 octane tune? I'm curious to how it performs, primarily throttle response and shift points.

 

Same thing happened to me but thought it was because I wasn't sitting on the drivers seat because my laptop was there. So turned ignition off, moved the laptop, sat on the seat, and it started right up.

 

In general, I think it's pretty common to have to cycle through an ignition cycle before starting. That's how it was on my old Ford and Subaru, anyway.

i've put just a few miles on 1.02 so far and the truck isn't really warmed up yet, but i can definitely say it catches 2nd gear more strong than before and pulled up into the revs like it would not do before. obviously more bottom end here. more later.

 

I swear I've started the truck with my hand on the brake instead of sitting in it before.. Odd.

 

If any more problems happen you can always flash back to stock. He took the weekend off.

I can start my truck without being in the drivers seat. I just push the brake in with my hand. I've done this multiple times.

 

I do it all the time in the winter.

 

I usually hit the "clutch start cancel" button but that works too haha

 

87 octane tunes are pending still. We've received 91 tunes so far.

 

I just ordered a new crank position sensor. Still having a very light rough idle and some very very small studdering. I do not think this is OVtune related. I have a 10/2016 build 2017.

 

You guys are making it hard to wait patiently for mine to ship!
