When you fill up with the display telling you X miles left (whatever low number you took it to), just subtract how much gas it took to fill up from 21.1, and you'll know how much was in reserve. For my truck, the display shows zero with about 1.5 gallons remaining, which is roughly 30 miles range given my driving style.

Either way works. No downside just flashing back to stock before you bring it in, then after they update, flash the tune.

After the warning count down to refuel is complete, you can get 45 miles HWY.
I do this often and on all the vehicles I have owned.my last vehicle was a gen2 with 300000km,it now has 450000km original fuel pump and cats.

Well, after trying out all of the 1.05 tunes with the exception of the 93 octane flavors (hard to find here), I think I've finally found my sweet spot with what Mat has given us so far. I hadn't really played around much with ECT Power since the early days of 1.04 unless I was towing our small camping trailer, but decided to see how it meshed with 1.05 for general driveability this past weekend. After using it for four days, I think that 1.05 87 Base with ECT Power engaged is practically perfect in every way. The shift points are improved and, most important of all for me, the dead-pedal lugging is almost completely gone. The truck feels light, nimble, and responsive in all the right ways in both city and highway driving AND, I'm still averaging 18-19 mpg. Sweet!

So, even though I'm really looking forward to Mat's upcoming rewrite, I'm now almost 100% happy with what I've got and can easily live with it for a long time. For those of you who haven't gone down this road yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Lol. Who read instructions anyway? Who follows instructions, too? Just click a bunch of button and hope it works.

Do not purchase if you are installing on a Windows partition (Bootcamp) on a Mac. Last year I purchased the @OVTune software and now several months later I have yet to get the install to work. I expected it would be a pretty straightforward process, based on positive reviews on this thread from Bootcamp users. So here is my honest and negative review: after multiple posts and tips on here from Bootcamp users, and after 80+ messages in my email communication with Mat, I'm worried this has become $600+ down the drain for me.

Anyone have some relevant, last ditch advice?

Why not buy a cheap Windows laptop to flash with? There are several listed in this thread that cost less than $150.

I’ve been using it without issue on boot camp for 1.5 years. What’s the issue you are having?

Feel free to pm me and we can get it working.

Just did the same. Only 32GB of flash storage, but plenty of room for Windows 10, Flash Manager, and Techstream. It's a dedicated use item and doesn't compromise my MacBook.

I believe we have the same Asus from BB. They dropped the sale price, but still pretty reasonable for under $200

Are you modified suspension/tire wise? I got my shipping notice and was about to start putting in 91 octane to try the 91base first. I’m still stock suspension and tires but have a canopy, FRO racks, and sliders. So some additional weight from stock at all times. I would love to stay on 87 fuel for budget reasons. But would love to see the biggest impact with the tune.3071108B-9748-4ADB-AC3D-40051D67C2E5.jpg

    I'm running 17" wheels with 33's, a 3" King lift, and a LEER HF350M tri-fold aluminum panel tonneau.

I’m sure this is somewhere in this thread, but I can’t seem to find it. If I purchased my OVTune around 3/28 when can I expect delivery and/or some type of shipping number?

Everything still requires a key to use. The software is worthless without it.

Trucks at the dealer now getting the TSS software update and oil change. (It’s free, otherwise I’d be doing it)
I’ll check the ecu ID when I get home. See if it’s different for some odd reason.

You have the code to figure out how to circumvent/use the key.....
