no need to flash back to stock, you can just disconnect the negative cable and wait 10 min or so. then give it another few tanks of gas to settle back in.

 

okay folks couple things :
(main post will be updated)

1. shutter fix files (Automatics) will be released by flash manager on April 14th.
2. 04B30/31 shift issue (performance, gearlock tunes) Fix files release April 10th
3. We have made an adjustment to pricing / and shipping costs (and currently still have issues with UPS shipping, but are working on that!).
4. Any order that was placed after the discount time for our standard price will get a partial refund back on shipping / differences. We understand there were people unable to order during the tax time discount, due to checkout issues.
5. I posted a few times before about it. Rafael and I will be unavailable on Tacomaworld for the majority of April. I will also be Unavailable in July and August (newborn)
6. Due to continual confusion, we are pulling the "software only" option from the site. If you own a tactrix already, just contact us. Our packages are also simplified.


Now that we've got everything caught up, we're going full time into development. Which means that for contact > support@ovtune.zendesk.com. I will not have any free forum time to answer things on here.

Do we still to register, send an email and wait for a reply when we get the kit?

Mine is being delivered Saturday and I wanna have everything ready to go so I can tune and test it the same day

 

You can do it now. Send the email before you get the kit. It’s to register your computer.
Has to be done to tune. Hopefully you’ll get your registration key email before your kit arrives. Then you can tune right away.

 

Yup, do it now. There for you get your registration key faster and when the kit shows up, you're ready to go.

I am hitting a road block and I cannot figure it out. I am trying to switch to 91 base on the OB04 and for some reason I am getting an error before flashing saying it is an unsupported file type. I purged, installed all software, updated, and then ran the p5utility... but when I click "flash it" in the P5flash Utility the tune file doesn't show up and I have to select "all files" for it to show up. Then I click on the tune file and it gives me an error. Any insight? To my knowledge, I am following the same steps I did before when I flashed the 87 perf and the 87 base tunes. If I am missing something, I can't figure it out.

 

I just did the same thing last week and had the same issue. Make sure you are using the new flashing software from the flash manager, not the old one a lot of us early adopters were using.

 

I did have to reinstall the software because my antivirus turned itself back on and deleted the program. I may have used the old software... Thank you!

 

Well that didn't fix anything for me. Still the same error.

 

Here is a screenshot of the error. I'm at a loss. I've been staring at this for too long and can't figure it out.

How can you tell? That is the file that downloaded from FM....

 

I just looked at the instructions again and the file that is in the instructions is a .p5f. Yet when I download the most up to date file right now it is giving me a .pcm file... is anyone else noticing this? This is for 0b04 91 base, btw.

Edit: I just tried doing the 93 Perf and it downloaded a .pcm file as well. looks like this is my issue but I do not know how to solve it.
