    IDK where folks are getting this paid updates from. Could it make Mat more money? Absolutely. Do you guys think it'll motivate him to get things to you quicker? Possibly. But coming from the Subaru community, I don't remember Cobb charging me for any updates they had. Access Port Manager would automatically update itself, update my hand held, and give me any new features they developed. I'm pretty sure some of the other tuning platforms are the same ie Hondata and Ktuner. Where it did cost me was custom tuning and I am assuming that's where Mats going and so many of us are waiting for. It is what it is and we would be at the mercy of OV if they decided to charge for updates, but it seems that that's not how other tuning platforms do it. I could be wrong, but at least from my experience.

    So what's the official word here, clearing values needed for a new install or every time you change tunes i.e 87 perf to 93 perf, or is clearing values recommended only if having issues?
