You need a TSB to update to a supported ecu. You can try to get the dealer to do it, or you can save a lot of time and do it yourself with techstream

So is 1.5 done? I thought it was, but now it's in development?

Every time I want to buy this, there either a new version that hasn't been vetted by the users, or there is some common complaint that I don't want to deal with.

No disrespect to OV tune, because I feel like they are working hard to remedy JIRA tickets (are they using JIRA?)

Any ETA on when 1.5 will be finalized?

@Shellshock how do I do that with techstream? Thank you. I also don't have techstream.

1.05 is done. I’d guess 1.5 is a long long time from now.

1.05 has been done. (Old news) Not all trucks tune the same. Some require a little more finesse from the master that's all.

You need to either turn off your anti virus software during the install or create an exception so it won’t bother with Flash Manager

Last question for tonight. The software key that's embedded in the instructions doesn't work. Any idea?

been running 1.05 91 for about 3-4 weeks now, mostly S4 mode. mix of city and mountain driving in rockies for skiing. very pleased so far. better throttle response and more enjoyable ride. mph avg 18.9 3 better than stock.

After stalking this thread for months I finally pulled the trigger. Been running 87 Base, using primarily 89 octane, on my stock 18 OR for about 1000 miles now and love it, more on that later.

I took my truck in for its 5000 mile service recently, while on 87 Base, and was informed of the recent recall involving the PCS software. I decided to have it done while I was there. Haven’t noticed any difference in how it drives after the PCS software update. My ECU calibration ID still indicates 04A60, same as before. Not sure if this was already resolved on here but at least in my case it doesn’t seem that they re-flashed my ECU.

As for my review of the product, it no longer feels like I’m pulling a parachute when driving on the freeway. The dead pedal feeling it used to have at highway speeds is all but gone. It no longer needs to downshift to maintain speed with the slightest incline or headwind. It predictably stays in 6th once up to highway speed around town, even when going over most overpasses in the Phoenix area. It downshifts to 5th for moderate inclines and has only gone to 4th when going up a mountain pass with a 6% grade. Response and overall fuel economy are both slightly improved as well. Overall great product, well worth the money.

That’s pretty crazy unless it’s a bunch of 2 mile city trips and never gets to temp. If I cruise consistently 35-50 mph I’ll average 25+ mpg :notsure:

Still on the fence on this mod. I want it, but after reading the directions and the pages of this forum, not sure I can do it.
