I forgot to include that detail. When I finished the highway leg, the instrument readout was 18.7 L/100 km or approx 12 mpg (US). Next time I tow I’ll use the Scangauge to get the mileage data.

I found radar cruise to be much more enjoyable in s4. But the mpg will suffer.

I purchased last night. Super noob question but have tried searching around without much effect. Will I be able to flash TSBs if I download Techstream with the latest hardware from OVTune?

lol that is better than the Tundra pulling the same amount of weight. According to those truck review guys on TV when they did a test with the Tacoma vs the Tundra pulling 6000lbs the Tundra got 10.2 mpg stock, I think the stock Taco was 11.3mpg

Do you have any mpg improvement data?
I love the Tundra but they get horrid gas mileage.

I see this Sunday there are some shutter fix files being released. Could you elaborate a little? Is this an updated tune file or something else? What do you mean by shutter?

What he means by “shutter” is more of a “shudder” or rumble or a feeling of driving over a washboard bumpy road most noticeable in gear 4, 5, or 6 at low rpm, say around 1100. @OVTune has determined that the torque converter is causing this condition and will release a fix on Sunday.

I asked my service guy about this very thing last December and his answer was “this is normal”. I, like many others have learned to live with this so it’s become part of the drive and once the rpm gets a bit higher it goes away. Be nice to get it fixed though.
