Huh. All this time I thought it was normal driveline vibrations from my lift.

If increasing the rpm doesn’t make it go away perhaps you have a driveline issue as well.

I experience the same thing getting on the highway from work, its an incline and the transmission dances nonstop 5,6,5,6, lock, unlock. Sometimes it pisses me off so bad that i just switch to S5. I run 91 Base with 4.88 gears and 33" wheels. Going uphill to work it has a tendency to stick to 5th and doesnt accelerate when i press the pedal then it shifts down to 3rd and redlines that bitch. I started pushing the ECT button when getting to that hill and it fixes it .

If you don’t want the gear lock tune on your truck, just flash a different 1.05 tune or flash the stock tune.

If you want to delete the tune file from your computer, click on the file, press “delete”.

1.05 Base 91 Octane version. I have about 3k miles on this tune and really like it, just a few quirks that I found a way to deal with. Waiting on that 4.88 gear update which is coming sooooon....

I think your 5/6 is more current shift points and your setup which is making it happen, not the shutter issue which is in every gear

Agree, I would be satisfied as well.
I saw the post that pesky misfires are being taken care also. I think my truck is like my passed away grandma, sensitive to the weather. One day I get over 15 misfires, other - zero. Go figure.
Other than that, I'm enjoying the 87 base all around. Had 4 full tanks, drove 1588 miles, average mpg 21.1(my rough estimation is 50% city/50 highway)
    But.....
Last year for the same period of time my MPG was better by 0.5 on stock tune.

Thanks for the comeback..... So by flashing the truck from Base to Performance or vis a vis it will delete Gear Lock ?
I thought Gear Lock is a separate tune and download itself ?

    It’s a separate tune.

Gear lock is a selectable option that attaches to performance tunes only. If you did not select Gearlock when you downloaded your tune file on Flash Manager then you don’t have it flashed to your truck so no need to delete anything.
