In conclusion, you can make it through anything.. sometimes it just requires more effort and planning.

Yesterday’s update was the Flash Manager software. The updated tunes have not been released (AFAIK).

Careful, the fun cops will tell on ya.

And no, my truck didn't blow up.

It still stutters on occasion though.

No, but she still "likes" some files better than others.

    Yes, this is OVtune related.

I wasn't caring about MPG's it was about the driveability power range, gear dance. I know how heavy my truck is and it is the issue. I was just really wanting to get some info out about 4.88's and some real life highway driveability and 5.29's are the better option for trucks in my category.

My normal weekly driving I get really good MPG's 17 on avg. This trip was the first long distance trip with various road terrain and weather conditions. I was hoping the tune and re gear was the perfect combo to make trips like this more comfortable and give a driveability it was missing even when it was stock. Future tune upgrades I hope get it there or at least improve a bit better in these types of trips I want to do more of! Love the Ovtune and my truck.

So the other tires weren’t compressed that 1/4”? Who cares anyway, let the man have what he wants.

Just clarifying that 2” taller tire equals less than half that of additional clearance.

    Now back to tuning lol

I briefly tried 91 performance today and decided it’s not for me. I did a 30 mile loop of mostly two lane roads with a lot of hills. It was raining and I spun the tires at every stop on an incline. I then went through a drive through to pick up some breakfast and the tip in throttle is too touchy for me but I loved everything else about it. Went back to 93 base and I’m really happy with it. I wasn’t expecting an increase in MPG but that was a nice surprise on top of much better drive-ability.

Are you flashing the correct file for your ECU id?

Yes, ive tried several times. Same error every time. Would I get this error if I was below 12v on the battery?

Good to hear. Did you clear the learned AT values with the updated flash manager?

Mine was refunded on 5/2. I would have been fine to wait as well.

    The email said:

    Your order has been canceled
Order #xxxx was canceled because of unforseen circumstances and your payment has been refunded

@OVTune did you cancel and refund all the orders for that handheld?

@OVTune , it would be great if the tune got released tonight or tomm morning so we didnt have to rush around Sunday night flashing and testing and could have it ready to go for Monday morning commute

    All the things!
Or... you could install it Monday night and have it ready for Tuesday's commute...

This is why developers on TW eventually stop giving ETA's for their product releases. People bitch and moan when they aren't dropped "on time". Keep in mind, the "E" in ETA stands for estimated.

Be patient... you don't need this right away.
