many of us have it, no one has pin pointed the issue with the steering
    wheel & floor board vibe.

Initial 40 mile impression of 1.05.1 Performance 93 octane is promising. Improved response compared to previous 1.05 Base 93. Tip in feels milder, almost perfect for the street, without the hair trigger touchiness of 1.05 Performance. This was with ECT on, I forgot to turn it off before the drive.

same thoughts here but have not tried it w/ ECT yet, I have my "always on"
mod disco'd for a tank or 2 to test just the tune.

I'm thinking this must mean you aren't pasting in the correct folder location to overwrite the mainmenu.exe file. Need to overwrite that file. I don't recall the correct folder location either off the top of my head.

Does anyone know if GearLock is base or performance? I know what it does and I've seen other say you choose Base/GearLock or Performance/GearLock but the FlashManager UI does not support this claim. In the UI you select the octane and then select one of the following options: Base;Performance;GearLock;FOB

It is performance + gearlock. There is no base + gearlock

Regarding the AT reset: what does the "learning" actually accomplish? Been on 91 Base w/93 Octane for quite some time (2018 04A61 ECU...stock config) but haven't been happy with the shifting, which is far from snappy (particularly 2nd to 3rd...almost feels like a "slip" followed by a very brief deceleration). Before anyone asks: no, didn't check the AT fluid level, because I don't remember the truck shifting like that when stock (of course the overall experience was much worse back then) and it's a 2018, but I should probably check it out just to eliminate low fluid level as a culprit. Just updated to 93 Base yesterday and am wondering if there's any difference in long-term shift performance depending on how the learning occurs? Or, is the end result - given enough time - always the same anyway?

I have the same Issue with the laggy shifts (Does it with stock tune also, and Fluid at proper level). I'm hoping someday @OVTune can do something about it but I'm thinking it is more of a hardware issue.

Edit - Now that I think of it I don't remember the laggy shift in 1.04 but my memory might be off. :rasta:

I have the exact same truck and have been tolerating this in the gas pedal and steering wheel since I bought it 1/4/16. Some days it's hardly noticeable, some days it's pretty bad. It must be too expensive of a fix for Toyota to do a TSB on it. Interesting that someone said it could be the TC. Kinda makes sense. My gf's 2016 Rav4 has it too but it's very mild.

Too funny. I read your post this morning before leaving for work. Flashed 1.05.1 87 base yesterday while warm. Ran fine on the drive home. This morning, backed out of the driveway and coasted down our hill to the stoplight. Had my left hand on the lower left section of the steering wheel waiting for the light to turn. The wheel was vibrating like a vibrator. My 4yr old in the backseat even asked me what I was laughing at. It seemed to keep doing it just until the Temp needle moved one notch above the 1st line on the temp gauge, about a 1/4 of the way up. Truck ran great and by the time it was warm the vibration stopped. Had to laugh though. And yes, at times I do feel the buzzy wheel but I can't pinpoint it to anything except for it only happens while cruising. 55-75. And no, I'm sure it's not tires.

Mine definitely has more vibration around 2000ish rpm. Had it stock and with the tune.

If you ever reset learning values, you need to give at least 200 -300 miles to settle in.
Before that, there is a host of weird stuff...

OHHHH I WANT IN ON THIS

I've been tuned since 11/27/2017 starting with 1.03
    28188 Miles

    Today running 1.05 base 87
    85314 Miles

Total 57126 miles on various tunes (and a small run on 04b13)

I've also got over 10,000 miles of towing with my truck.

It continually gets better with every release.

I've heard TC or engine mounts. I'm the same, sometimes I'll think, hey it's gone
and try and feel for it and it's there but outside of those rare times it's always there in
the pedal & steering wheel and yeah, many times it will feel like it's making my hands
numb, can't even imagine what a 4+ hour drive would feel like.
