Just take your time and read the instructions.

Also: Check engine light, Check charging system, Brake override malfunction, and Low oil pressure alarms are normal.

-I've flashed mine at least 8 times since the tune came out.

I understand that flashing and reprogramming a brand new truck with such a delicate system can be scary but to put your mind at ease even if you do the process backwards, upside down, or just completely as wrong as possible, it can be easily reversed. Our software has full bootloader protection. you could literally flash a binary full of "FF" and it's still savable lol.

It's SAFER than techstream and techstream is made by toyota!

**please still follow our instructions to the best of your ability**

6MT here. Got to drive about 30 miles. Much better all around driving experience. Still has a "drop" when starting off in 1st. Reminds me of an 80's Mustang 5.0. Could be the lack of torque I guess. Power over 2K is much better and smoother delivery. In/around MPG is up from 16 to 18. Have never done a highway tank, so unknown how it will do there. Truck is stock except for the tune and a bedrug.

My butt dyno disagrees for what it's worth..... I felt like 1.0b had good pull 2500 RPM up compared to 1.02. I've got a 4 day weekend and errands to run so maybe i'll flash back to 1.01b and see if I can tell the difference again.

I think a lot of what people are experiencing is the difference in cam timing. On 1.01B intake VVT was like stock, which is abrupt in how it changes, which can make it feel punchy. 1.02B has valve timing with smoother transitions and less of a peak and drop off. So it will feel smoother, which makes it less "punchy" but in terms of torque and top end power 1.02B is better.

I don't doubt it for a minute. 1.01b had very distinct surges around 2500 and 3000 rpm. I think we are all concentrating very hard to see/feel differences that we perceive minute differences to be more significant than they are. The butt dyno is about the most unscientific test possible. GPS based 0-60 Timers on a cell phone aren't far behind.

I'm judging based off the fact my truck is now lugging on slight inclines that it did not do on 1.01b. I have to shift more. It's also been cooler here so I have not been running the ac. I can only assume it will be worse this weekend when the temps go back up 20 degrees or so to the mid 80's and I'm running the ac again.

I will if it acts up. This tune feels just like 1.01a with out the stutters I was getting with it. My truck does not seem to like it. The throttle response is better for sure. Engine braking is not an issue since I have an MT so I can't comment on that. I have not had an issue with the fuel cut off while coasting with the tune.It seems like some people are having better performance with it then others. I think we will have these types of issues with random trucks. I'm sure Matt will get it fixed up when we get a data logger or at least an MT truck on the dyno. I did throw my stock wheels and tires on just to see what the tune felt like for the stock guys and holy crap it was amazing except for the skipped leg day look. It was way easy to piss the traction control system off. When I am near a computer I will post a video of me taking out revenge on a perfectly good set of factory Toyo cheapies. Since it's performance related and all.

Give it some time. @OVTune will have a datalogger ready soon and if you are having problems, he'll tackle it. We've seen what kind of service he provides!
